Tru Genics Hoodia misrepresentation ripoff American Fork Utah

I completed an on-line questionnaire regarding weight loss. A few weeks later, I received a telephone call from a representative from "Tru Genics Hoodia", a division of Pure Health Labs . He offered one month's supply of this product free of charge but pay only shipping and handling ($9.99).

Being the skeptic I am, I started asking questions such as where the office was located (Utah), and what the web address was. I checked the info on the net and it all checked out. I gave him my M/C number to process the shipping charge. He also confirmed my address. When I got off the phone, I did not feel right about the call however, I did not listen to myself.

Finally, a few days later, I found this web site and read some rip off reports from others. I immediately called the 1-800 number provided but it is not in service. I have not yet received anything but have cancelled my credit card since. I am not certain of the charges yet as it is too early to tell. I have sent them an email expressing my frustration. I doubt I will get a response. Is anyone aware whether or not this will affect my credit rating?
