Ultimate Nutriceuticals_12-in-ONE Didn't order anything but they had my credit card number!!! Van Nuys California

I came home and found a box of vitamins in my mailbox from this company along with an invoice for $29.95. I didn't recognize the company, didn't remember any such purchase and since I don't believe in multivitamins, much less multi for men, I was pretty sure this wasn't my order.

I called the 800 number, got Manual TZ229 and told him my predicament. He said he would remove the charge, remove the auto-refill order (WHAT!!???) but he couldn't do anything about the basic charge of $7.95. I would have to contest that from my credit card company.

He mentioned my credit card and I asked him for the last 4 digits, which did indeed match a card I have. Called the card company, contested the charge and cancelled the card.

Now, where did they get the card number? I never ordered anything from this group. Is someone out there selling card numbers to disreputable merchants?

All the more reason to use one card only for purchases and check it carefully along with keeping a record of each purchase made online.
