the zero water filter did not work with the first pitcher bought. it did not register as well as our PUR filter using the device that came with the zero water pitcher. we returned it for another. after using it for over the 30 days allowed to be able to return it, I have had to throw out the filter. No one will drink the water because of the offensive strong acidic taste. I now have a ridiculously expensive plastic pitcher that could be purchased for $1 at any discount or dollar store.
