Okay it's not like Disney World is out there telling crooks they have an "open door" policy for vehicle thefts. Does it suck that you had 3 Laptops stolen on your vacation..you bet. Disney or any Theme Park is not immune from "real world" problems. This could have happened ANYWHERE. What if they got taken from your Hotel Room? Would you have written a RipOff report if the Hotel didn't have the Sherriff patrolling the halls.
The fact is that Disney has it's own security. Have you seen the size of the entire Resort? Just go onto Google Earth and take a look. Disney actually manages what most would consider the equivalent to a medium size city. I don't think they release the actual numbers(for obvious reasons), but I would not be surprised if they have a security staff that rivals the size of the OC Sheriff Department.
But even IF the OC Sheriff patrolled the parking lot they can't be at every single spot at every single moment, and there is no guarantee that it still would not have happened. Even IF they had 100% video coverage there is no guarantee it wouldn't have happened.
Our car had been broken into however the robbers relocked the SUV as to not alert us that we had been victims of theft in Walt Disney World Parking Lot
- If you would not have been alerted, how would anyone else be?
Parking lot attendees (people with the orange sticks pointing you into your parking space) are looking and watching your vehicles when you park and it is most evident when you have alot of bags in your vehicle that most likely you will have computers as most people travel with laptops, ipads, etc..these days.
- Okay why the conspiracy theory? You really think the Cast Members who are helping you park your car have the time to actually look into every car to see what they can steel? They don't have the time for that. They are actually more worried about the hundreds of cars that are coming at them and making sure they don't get run over by guests who are driving in "vacation mode" and not paying attention to where they are driving.
And for full disclosure here. I do not now or ever have worked for Disney or any Theme Park company. But being in Orange California(CA) I do know several people who either currently work for them or worked for them in the past in various positions.

Hello and thank you for your comment however being from Atlanta GA we are no stranger to crime and didn't think WDW would have a problem having cameras in their parking lots being they charge a 14 dollar a day rate per vehicle. Afterall...in Atlanta we have them in parking decks!!! Cameras are just a detourant no doubt..however being a Risk Manager I see alot of room for improvement in safety and loss that WDW should consider! They are not the only large company in America and should establish some of the loss and safety precautions that bigger corporations have in place not only for their consumers but that of their employees also! In regards to you not working for Disney...good for you!

Walt Disney World has its own police force. Orange County has no jurisdiction over the area. Seriously look it up yourself. WDW officers routinely arrest and detain offenders.
When did you notice these things were stolen? When you unpacked your car when you got home?
If you would have filled out a police report with WDW police then you could have used that report for your insurance claim. You do have insurance right???

I don't cause anything & i will never admit i do. These people who say i am at fault are just plain delusional. They can just blame on. I will always continue to expose the wrongs that have been done to me. They will just find some way to say i caused it.

Not to be insensitive, but you can't really blame disney for missing laptops. It sucks that they were taken, but people steal things from cars here all the time. I have a jeep so I know all about things getting taken. But theres no reason to think that it was empolyees stealing it. Thats a parking lot with people constantly comin through, isn't it more likely that one of the hundreds of other people would be the ones stealing?

That the victim's vehicle was apparently not busted into in a way that would attract attention tells me that experienced pros did the robbery. They knew how to quickly break in without doing obvious damage, so for all anyone who might have seen them knew, the car belonged to them.
Charles, I kind of shocked though, at your vehement attack on the OP, since I can't recall ever seeing you defend the company over an OP before. We actually agree that the OP needs to take responsibility for the risks they took and the unrealistic reliance they placed on garage security. It just seems to me you were a bit over the top in attacking them, don't you think?
There are definitely OPs that deserve a kick in the teeth right off the bat. The "parent" who didn't want to wait for their kid's plane to take off is a good example, but these folks wouldn't seem to qualify. How does taking a trip to Disney equate to them being rich brats? Those laptops could be cheap low end dinosaurs bought second hand, for all we know.
And take a deep breath, smoke a doob or down a shot before responding, please. This isn't an attack. I'm not related to the Phenix police or the big bad nurse. It's a simple discourse.

At first I was really tempted to be mean to you, but then when I realized you have done this for 10 years, it was obvious that you have a serious mental disability. But sense you started the topic, there is someone that everyone should be me to. Your mother. Because she obviously did a pitiful job of raising children. But even more importantly, I know someone who you can sue, and would actually win against. The state of Alabama. No government should EVER allow a woman who raised somebody like you to have children. While visit Magic Kingdom tonight, my father's 2005 Avalanche was broken into. Missing from his truck was an iPad that was hidden between the seat and the middle console. This same evening, a total of 6 cars were broken into, all of which were GM branded. I wonder what type of cars are being broken into. I would venture to say there are GM. It seems as if someone had a transmitter to unlock any GM car in the lot. We were parked Scar 112.
