Well I never thought I would have to report this guy but after reading the other person's complaint I had to chime in. I gave TWO German Shepards to Bob in 2009. I was in between homes and I was at a place that I could not keep my dogs. I gave Bob my dogs in march of 2009. How I found his service?, he has a van parked on rosecran blvd in Hawthorne, Ca. that say's Bob's dogs. I was behind on a few payments but stayed in communication with him. He promised me that my dogs would OK and well taken care of. I got caught up with my fees and he assured me that when I am ready I can get my dog.
Bob called me on October of 2009 and stated that he had to put down one of my german shepherds because he stated she was old. I was very sadden by this because he knew the two dogs were like my children and I would not just put a dog down because they are old..aren't they suppose to get old??? I went to see him in person in April 2010 to give him the final payment of the kennel and while I was there I showed good faith by not only buying one pup but I bought TWO pups..to show good faith and have a new leach on life since he put one of my dogs down.
While I was there he gave me a receipt stating paid in full. I said to myself " I am glad he is paid". Well it has been a nightmare ever since. When I got a place where my pups could be I started to ask Bob can I get my other dog and he said sure. He ask me to meet him at a place call Ewing Guard Dogs which is located on El Segundo Blvd in Gardena, Ca. When I met him there he stated I had to pay $500 more since the owner, J.R. Ewing had been keeping my dog. But if we went to J.R. directly he would charge us $1000..I said WOW..but I was willing to do what ever it took to get my girl back. Well it did not work out like I thought.
Not only did J.R. stated he NEVER received the dog but he stated also stated that Bob lied on him and is known for making up fake documents for registering purpose. I was blown away. I spoke to Bob and he stated that he did in fact gave my dog to J.R. and that he does not know where the dog is but Bob took my money with out any reservations. I told Bob my business was with Bob's dogs not with the other guy J.R. In the mist of all this I was also informed that my two new pups were "AKC" registered.
Well I am thinking AKC stands for American Kennel Club. Well come to find out Bob CREATED a club called American Kennel Canine and when I went to find this club on the website which the web address stated www.americankennelcanine.com it came up to go-daddy as the host. Bob did not pay the hosting fee. So then he created another bogus website called americankennelcanine.vpweb.com which is a FREE website and not the same as the one one on the paperwork. He quickly created to cover his tracks. After that Bob would call me from time to time and tell me that the dog is in Compton, so we go to Compton she is not there.
We have been given a lot of places to go to but we come up empty handed. Please note when we were at his ranch in Acton he had a variety of dogs. He had a german shepard that had a ear missing, a presa canario that has a tail half attached, a Piranha that has his top lip missing and most of all the pups he sold me had several health issues that came with them.
I felt in my heart that I rescued those two pups. Bob's brother who is a ex-con had tigers on the ranch and I guess that he was feeding helpless dogs to the tigers before the county found out about them.
I am going to be reporting all of this to the Dept Animal Control & Care, BBB.org, State Tax board because we paid cash and he did not include tax on the receipts, and I will be filing a civil lawsuit for the $2500 that I paid but never got the dog back. Bob is bad news and I recommend that NOBODY get protection, obedience, house breaking training or Kennel your dog. He will give them away for pennies on a dollar and falsify paperwork to make you assume you have ligament pedigree. I hope this guy goes out of business for the sake of all animal lovers and people who don't want to go home with a empty feeling about your extended family (you're pet).
