Warning to anyone trying to save dogs or puppies from the virus parvo: Only a vet can save your dog, and it will cost. The homeopathic remedy offered by Friends Of The Planet called Parvaid, and all supporting herbal products are designed to take advantage of your emotional state and attack your bank account with promises of healing your poor dogs with a treatment at half the cost of what a vet would charge. Only after holding your dying puppy in your arms as he suffers and struggles for his last few breaths, will you realize what a terrible mistake you have made. It is a memory that will never fade, and you will blame yourself for the puppy's suffering. We lost puppies after paying the $500 + shipping, and had to take the surviving pups to the vet on top of that expense, where they remain clinging to life. After the dust settles and you start reading the fine print you discover there is no return or refund policy. Question: If your procuct is so effective and successful, why will you not stand behind it? On top of that, they instruct you to treat any other dogs in the house as a preventative measure. When we treated the adult dogs they became ill too. All our dogs were current on vaccinations and we followed the instructions exactly as stated, and when we had questions, called for the answers. When given the opportunity to stand behind their product or be reported to the BBB, the local District Attorney and this venue, they insisted that we used the product wrong and they would not refund our money. Shame on you Friends Of The Planet.

Home Parvo Treatment That Works - For Those That Know How To Read And Can Follow Simple Directions

AUTHOR: Friends Of The Planet, Inc. - Snowflake (U.S.A.)

Michael and Donna Yielding are dog breeders with a lot of dogs at their house. Donna called us after losing some pups at her vet's, she did not want to spend another $2,000 - $3,000 per dog as she had at least two more sick and quite a few more pups and adult dogs at her house that all were exposed to the highly contagious Parvo virus.

She also told us that she had recently had most of those dogs vaccinated and at least one had a bad violent reaction to the vaccines, and within a few days after these shots several of the dogs came down with Parvo. This is becoming a more common problem.

We told her at the time she called us that we cannot save every dog, there is no way to ensure a 100% success rate in 100% of Parvo cases. We also told her that there are some dogs that are much harder to treat:

• dogs that weigh under 3lbs (which she had several in this weight group)
• dogs that are under 3lbs and have not been eating for days (this applies to her also)
• dogs that have been recently vaccinated and/or de-wormed (this also was present in her case)
• certain dog breeds such as Dobermans, German Shepherds, Labrador Retrievers, Pit Bulls and Rottweilers, according to information published by Merck (this did not apply in her case, but it does not mean that her Pomeranians and Pekineses were any less likely to become infected because they are not on this list, as Parvo can and does infect any and all breeds)

So, his statement that we make “promises of healing your poor dogs” is an outright lie.

We do not make, and have never made, such rash promises, because nobody can issue a 100% guarantee that they can successfully treat a dog for Parvo.

We told her up front that she would have to really fight and pull out all of the stops in order to save these dogs as they had many huge problems against them.

We told her that she would have to follow a strict plan to the letter without deviations, unless we told her to make modifications for any complications that could come up.

We told her she would have to check in with us EVERY four to five hours both during the pre-treatment phase (i.e. before the products could be delivered via FedEx Overnight) and during the treatment phase once the products had been delivered.

We also told her that due to the nature of her environment, i.e. it is infected with a highly contagious virus that is super easily transmitted from person to person, animal to animal, and object to person, object to animal, etc. that we DO NOT take returns. That would mean everywhere that package traveled, virus particles would be released and spread in many uninfected areas, potentially killing many more animals in the process, including cats (as the 2c strain of Parvo can also infect cats, ferrets, raccoons, and other small mammals).

We explained to her (and all of this is detailed on our sites) that we cannot have people spreading the virus everywhere through the mail, so therefore we do not take returns period. She agreed to all of this, so we went forward and placed the order.

This is what she actually did after her call ended:

1. She didn't read one of two crucial emails we sent (and which she was told to expect) until six days later, by which time it was far too late to be of any use to her.
2. We told her to take copious notes so that we could also give her this critical info via the phone – that was next to impossible seeing that we could almost never get a word in edge-wise, she talked over us constantly which means she was not really listening, even though she assured us that she wrote everything down.
3. She did not call us with the four to five hourly check-in calls. She called us once or twice throughout a four day period. This was a tremendous mistake.
4. She told us that she had errands to run (like picking up her truck, visiting one of her dogs at the vet's, etc.) This meant a few hours of interrupted treatment in the HOURLY dosages. Another big mistake.
5. On another occasion she told us that she had to entertain company for three or more hours, which meant yet more interruptions in the treatment plan. All these interruptions are cumulative. (It also demonstrates further their irresponsibility - by having guests over in a house that's infected by Parvo, they then put at risk any dogs those guests may have, or any dogs they may have come into contact with.)

The comprehensive plan that we supplied her both over the phone and via email clearly states that for at least three days or more she would have to give her dog(s) HOURLY treatments of various materials with NO interruptions. She was also instructed to check in with us via phone, email, live chat, or text messages, EVERY four to five hours. She did none of this and as a result some of her dogs did not make it.

This is without a doubt the number one reason why dogs don't make it: their owners WILL NOT follow the game plan to the letter.

We told her numerous times what she needed to do and how to do it. She did not follow the plan, she did not have help, she had previous engagements that were more important to attend to, and as a result her dogs suffered.

We have dealt with over 900 cases of Parvo, we've done hours and hours of research into this subject (we wrote a comprehensive ebook that we give away freely via download: http://www.ParvoBook.com/), we make ourselves available and offer FREE 24 x 7 phone support and phone coaching to all of our customers, we do whatever we can to save as many animals as possible. Unfortunately we cannot go to every state or every country and do the treatment plan for the people. We give everyone all of the tools, the resources, access to our extensive knowledge base, hand-holding (yes we're on speed dial anytime day or night), and so forth to help them get through this crisis.

Michael and Donna Yielding had access to all of those services, but they chose not make use of them. We cannot force people to comply. We don't have a crystal ball, we cannot pre-determine who will follow the plan and who won't. We've dealt with a lot of people with almost no skills – they did exactly what we told them and their dogs made it, we've dealt with many who claimed to know about healing or treatment protocols and since these folks know so much they don't see the need to follow the plan, and sadly in most of these cases they lose animals.

So, we never know who is going to work the program and who isn't. We give everyone the most current up-to-date version of our comprehensive game plan which we have to update regularly to keep up with all of the additional complications that Parvo comes up with, and if followed to the letter we see 90% or more animals survive.

All of the untouched testimonials on our sites are unpaid and come from every-day people that gave us feedback on their situations. We've had many cases that looked impossible, but because the people followed our instructions without question they were able to save their dogs.

If we did not see results, we would stop selling these products without a second thought. We don't believe in selling products that don't work in the vast majority of cases. There is no point in that and that does not support our business model.

We are here to save animals using safe, organic, cost-effective products. We believe in these products, we use them EVERY SINGLE DAY on our own dogs as part of a maintenance plan to prevent Parvo (we don't believe in vaccinations because they don't work, lots of dogs get Parvo within a couple of days of the shots, they cause numerous side-effects including cancer, so there are too many downsides see this page for more details: http://www.ParvoBuster.com/vets, and even though we are in the worst state in the US for Parvo, we have kept all of our dogs Parvo-free; in fact, we actually take these products ourselves as they contain human-grade herbs and we've never ever seen any reactions in our family nor have there have any proven cases that these products caused side-effects since they were introduced in 1997).

Visit our testimonials section and see for yourself - we have lots of success with these products: http://www.ParvoBuster.com/parvaid-testimonials.php/.

Here are a few really bad cases that had happy endings:

• Art and Benny in TX, lost some pups before their parents found our site (as Art and Benny do not have a computer with an Internet connection, we had to do everything over the phone). We dictated the comprehensive plan to Benny, she took copious notes, she organized everything, and the two of them took shifts. They called us six or seven times a day for 3 or 4 days straight. It was hard work, they got almost no sleep (and neither did we, but that's OK), but their beloved Einstein made it and that's all that mattered.
• Tyler and Shaunna in NH had a really sick dog, they took shifts, they called us regularly, they did everything we told them, and Zoey pulled through: see the full story here: http://www.ParvoBuster.com/case-study-00010.php/.
• Daniel, in the state of WA, had a 100 pound adult Pit Bull male, fully up-to-date on his shots, yet he came down with Parvo and it really hit him hard. This dog could not keep anything down and we therefore had to give him everything via a rectal enema. Now, for most of our male customers, this is the most horrifying thing we could ask them to do. However, since Daniel breeds and he made up his mind that he was going to do whatever it took to get his dog back on his feet, he did it. He called us five or six times a day for three straight days, he gave his dog the enemas, and they fought hard but in the end we were victorious and that's what matters, an unwavering level of dedication.
• Cheryl and Jim in Canada had a really sick pup that went to the vet and they could not heal this dog and she was going downhill. Jim called us at 10:00 pm at night, placed the order, sent it to a friend in MI, drove from his country to pick the package up, but this was over a weekend so they did not get the products until Monday night, meanwhile we had to keep Mitsie going for a few more days until they could get the products. This is why our comprehensive plan is so superior – not only will this help keep dogs going for a few days until the package arrives, this gets people acclimated to the grueling hourly dosage schedule that is absolutely critical to complete. They also took turns, they followed every instruction, Cheryl called us five or six times a day and at night, and by doing everything we told them they saved their dog: http://www.ParvoBuster.com/case-study-00011.php/.
• Drake and Alyssa in TX had a similar problem: dogs sick over the weekend. We get this a lot. Despite the fact at the time Alyssa was five months pregnant, she and Drake took shifts, they even downloaded our 100+ page Parvo Treatment 101 book, read it cover to cover, and still managed to follow our game plan to the letter including several modifications we had to make along the way because some of their dogs had more complications that we had to address. They rolled up their sleeves, got to work and saved their dogs: http://www.ParvoBuster.com/case-study-00012.php/.
• Maria in TX did not have a computer with the Internet and had to use her cell phone to find our site. That within itself is a feat since our main site is very complex, huge, and not optimized for cell phone browsers, but that did not stop her. Maria had a Pit Bull pup that again got sick over the weekend. She could not get her products until Tuesday. That dog threw everything up, and was gushing blood from her rear (not drops but large amounts of liquid blood). Coco was going downhill and was not responding. We had to throw everything but the kitchen sink at her Parvo and we thought at the end of the second day, we were going to get that dreaded call. Despite the handicaps, Maria would not take no for an answer. She did everything we told her, including loads of additional things and she was prepared to do whatever it took. She had her family help out when she could not take off from work, she called us many times a day, and she never gave up. Both she and Coco are real fighters with Pit Bull tenacity. We think through sheer will power, unquestioned devotion, and a willingness to do anything we told her no matter how crazy it may have seemed at the time, she was able to pull Coco through the fight of her life!

So, the point here is, we NEVER give up on animals and nether should you. It is possible to successfully treat your Parvo dogs at home, but you have to be willing to follow a comprehensive plan that does require HOURLY doses, a strict adherence to the plan, no interruptions in treatment, incorporate modifications when we feel appropriate for the situation, and check in with us multiple times per day/night.

These are lessons to be learned.

• If you're going to breed animals, then you need to know your product. There are many illnesses that animals can get, you have to find viable ways to prevent sickness and if the animal still gets sick then you have to be financially fit to take your dogs to the vet and be prepared to pay $500 - $10,000 per dog in the case of Parvo treatment, or you have to be willing and able to treat him at home by consistently following a complete regimented program, and having the products on-hand will greatly save more animals because in the case of Parvo, dogs can die in as little as six (6) hours after symptoms first appear.
• You have to take responsibility for your actions and lack thereof. If you decide to do home treatment, then you have clear your calendar, and do nothing but treat your dogs for several days straight on hourly doses. If there was a “take 2 pills and call me in the morning treatment plan” that worked, we would let people know. That just does not exist. There's no free lunch, especially with a sophisticated virus such as Parvo. If you have any doubts in your mind, this is Parvo at a glance:

1. A single gram of infected liquid/solids (e.g. feces, vomit, urine, saliva, etc.) holds 95 million virus particles. It only takes 100 particles to infect an animal!
2. Parvo can live in the ground for up to 20 years.
3. It can survive extreme temperatures (freezing to boiling).
4. It has the ability to find and attack weak dogs (we don't how, but it has figured this one out).
5. During the incubation stage (which can be anywhere from 3 - 15 days) it is multiplying and growing in numbers at a fast rate and it needs fuel, so it consumes easy targets such as body parts like the bone marrow, the intestines, and simultaneously it is also attacking the immune system rendering the dog helpless to fight back.
6. If the dog is lucky enough to survive, he will shed the virus in his feces for 4 - 6 weeks, which means that the virus can live another day to start the whole thing over on other dogs in the vicinity.
7. It has become resistant to most conventional treatment protocols.
8. It easily defeats most vaccines on the market.
9. If a Parvo dog regularly consumes or has been treated with any type of chemicals (i.e. vaccines, especially the chemical-based de-wormers, poor quality dog food like the common types from the grocery store), then not only is he trying to get rid of all those chemicals which can last for weeks after the last dose, he's trying to fight off the viral attack, he's vomiting, has diarrhea, and hasn't eaten for days. This is a recipe for disaster. This is too much, especially for really young and/or low-body weight dogs.
10. So, for the people with infected dogs that wait for a day or more before even doing any research or taking some action, with all that is going on, inadvertently they may have hasten their dog's untimely departure.

In this particular case, it is clear that Michael and Donna Yielding did not follow the plan, had other priorities, and refuse to responsibility for their poor performance which lead to an undesirable outcome. If they had followed the plan to the letter, there would have been a good chance that we could have saved some of their dogs; instead, they tried to blackmail us into giving them a refund (we've never heard of a vet offering to refund customers their money when they fail to save a dog from Parvo, which, don't forget, happens roughly half of the time, and we see no reason why we should be expected to do anything different) and told us if we didn't cave in to their demands they would publish this (highly inaccurate) report and tell everyone that we are selling snake oil.

Frankly, this is outrageous; we are the only re-sellers of these products (we are not the manufacturers) that offer 24 x 7 support and personal phone coaching. You will not find this with any other retailers, or re-sellers of these products, and you certainly won't get this level of support from your vet. We do everything humanly possible to help people through a Parvo crisis. We work extremely hard and to have someone with obviously no knowledge of this virus (even at a lay-person's level) that is only exploiting dogs for profit, to say that we only sell snake oil and we're trying to rip people off is atrocious.

And as they didn't follow the plan that we gave them, then they really have no basis on which to claim that either our plan or the products don't work.

If you are reading this and you don't have thousands and thousands to spend treating your animals at the vet's, you don't want to spend $300 or more to have your animal put down when there's a chance that he could survive, or if you just want to have the freedom to choose NON-chemical treatments for yourself and your animals, then please contact Michael and Donna Yielding to let them know that you are capable of making your own mind up. Don't let the Michael and Donna Yieldings of the world try to take away your freedom of choice.
