Teresa Snipes did purchase a Sphynx kitten on 12/16/11, The day after he was issued his State Of Florida Health Certificate. This is this kitten was examined and tested by a Licensed Vet ( A vet that has been practicing for thirty years) the day before Teresa picked him up. The kitten was found to be in perfect health. The vet checks the stool checks the heart/the skin/ ears/ listens to the lungs and does a feline leukemia test. Then the kitten is vaccinated.I have since spoken to my vet about this kitten and he has told me that there is no way he would have missed fluid in the lungs.

Now my question is how did this baby get fluid in his lungs??????? Teresa's boyfriend told us that he had ,forced fed the kitten because he did not feel that he had eaten enough, did he feed him to fast?

Did they bath him and he got water in his lungs? Did he maybe fall in the toilet? Only they will know what happened to this baby!

All I know is that the day before this kitten was 100%

The xrays on this kitten show one lung full of fluid and the other partial, it looks like this baby almost drowned!! What kind of home did I send this poor baby to??

Now as far as the vet bills go Teresa allowed these vets to xray this little nine week old kitten four times! Why would they need to xray him four times? Im sure that after the first xray all a experienced vet would need is to listen to the lungs! Why would you let them use radiation four times on such a young baby? Of coarse the xrays alone totaled $230.00 then Teresa bought canned food/milk replacer Nutrical (all things that she was told to get for the kitten in the first place but she chose to buy it all from the vet. Teresa's extra exspences with xrays totaled $327.32 her total vet bills were $714.96(this includes her $327 in extras) so for her to say she is well over $1200.00 is totaly not true! Her price of $1200 includes the price of the kitten.

Furthermore the contract clearly states that we are not liable for any vet bills Teresa was told to bring the kitten back so we could take the kitten to our own vet but she totaly refused.

Now just last week Teresa finely sends us copies of her vet reports for us to go over (six weeks after the fact) Friday we decided to pay 1/2 of her exspences and sent her a check( We feel that since we will never know what happened to this baby after he left our home we do not feel we should be fully responsible, again how did he get so much fluid in his little lungs overnight?????)

We paid her in good faith not realizing that she had already been allover the internet with her slander. She had not even sent one copy of any reports to us before she started her slander

When she called about the kitten she was told to send copies of all vet reports she chose to write this report before she even gave us a chance to respond. Her reports were written (her side) before we had a chance to even receive the paperwork. What kind of person is this? Its seems obvious that she would not care at all what we did she was not going to give us a chance! Her mind was made up and she went straight to her computer!

She has also made it clear that they are prominent business people in the community and that this had better be cleared up, I wonder if her boyfriend that she owns  a restaurant with in this community is aware of what she has been trying to do to our business? I'm sure as a business man himself he would want his customers to give him a fair chance to respond to any problem they may have with his establishment before they go on the computer and file false reports!

I to know how to Google and have googled their restraunt's name (Stout's Cafe on little road) and have found all the violations of there inspections on how the food people eat is being handled. So you see in the days of the computer anyone can search anything and say anything they want wether its true or not.The diffrance here is the things I have found is public knowledge in a City report.

With Teresa it his her own story. No one else was present whith her and this kitten that fateful night so we will never know the true story of what happened to him.

Okay I am not going to play a he said she said, so this will be simple. I finally was able to get $250 back from the back from the above mentioned breeder. Had to take many vet bills, notes and phone calls to get this far, as they did not make an effort and contact me.

I do have ALL vet  bills, notes, contract, pictures, phone logs and vet reference if needed to back up my original complaint. All of this information can be obtained by emailing a request to tserenity@hotmail.com. That will now be public information, as is better business bureau reports on divas and dudes doggies and also memere - pata cattery (both names they operate by and are on my contracts). as well other reports are here on rip off and other internet resources to help you  decide to buy from this company.

As far as our cafe', it is not involved with this complaint nor should have it been. this was a very low blow and grasping at straws.We are blessed and do very well with many regular customers, many followers.

I never bathed the kitten, nor had him near a toilet (and he was too tiny to have made it one) nor did anyone ever force feed this baby. no one ever said they did this. The kitten was treated by my long time vet, the pneumonia had to of been there longer than 24 hours to have developed as far as it had been when I took the kitten in. We had to change the diet the kitten was on because he would not eat the raw turkey meat diet they were feeding him but, was enticed by AD prescription food sold to me by the vet.

For the record I also have another Sphynx kitten that I have had for 2.5 years now and he is perfectly healthy and vibrant. He too is always been taken to my longtime vet. This is not my first time handling Sphynx or baby animals. As well my older sphynx became sick too from the baby. Aspirated fluid is not contagious. (referring to the comment made about me either bathing, putting in toilet, etc... )

I also had the opportunity to meet other people that have had sick animals from here and other vets that have seen sick animals from this breeder as well. I am sure that these too were all the owners faults and this breeder never has any fault ??

Last but not least, Gloria asked me on the phone 01-28-12 if I could ask my vet if they thought that her vet that did the health check could have aspirated the kitten by way of nasal  vaccines and test. She stated that she or we would never know.  I did ask my vet and she had never heard of this happening but could not say with out a doubt. Gloria also stated they would be mailing a check, did not disclose amount. (the $250 check that I obtained).

In the end my new baby (Christmas present) is all well and healthy now. He is very loved and will be well kept and spoiled. The rest is up to everyone else to decide, and be an educated purchaser.
