I purchased a package deal for $79.99 from this company on 8/2/09 to send out a lost pet alert for 150 miles from my home for a lost dog.

This is what they advertise: You provide information about your case We broadcast your poster to local Veterinarians, Animal Shelters, Groomers, Animal Control, Police Stations, Media Outlets, Pet Stores and “Neighborhood Watch Volunteers” within a 50 to 200 mile radius of where your pet was last seen. Amber Alert Posters are sent via express mail, fax and email depending on the recipient. Your poster is received by thousands of people, pet businesses and agencies in your local area. There are hundreds of people in the know about your lost pet and they are looking out for them throughout the day. When your pet is found or sighted by someone, they call our hotline or visit our web site to report it and we contact you with the good news.

I sent the information and received confirmation. Within 2 days I received an email with a poster and instructions to print and distribute this poster. Within the next week I went to at least 3 local vets and the animal shelter and not a one had received the poster. I asked for a list of places that they sent it to on 8/9/09. They said I should receive it a "detailed" report in 1 to 2 business days.

I contacted them again on 8/19 and 8/23 asking about the report. Finally on 8/24 when I used the word scammed they replied they were resending it and if I were not satisfied I was entitled to a 50% refund. On 8/31 I contacted them again and asked for my refund as I still had not received the report and again on 9/6 with no reply. On 9/10 I wrote again asking if anyone was going to address my concerns and this was their reply: Cathy, unfortunately we do not have records of alerts sent out over 1 month ago. If your pet is still lost we can offer you 50% off on a new alert package and provide the listing as well. 

Very convenient that they waited over a month to reply to my 7 inquiries.  I wasted precious time with this company. Perhaps I could have found my dog had they done what I paid them to do.

We have issued a full refund. Since your pet is still lost and it has been quite some time we can reprocess the reports again free of charge and provide the contact list for you to follow up on immediately.
