We breed for Show. This means we are breeding to preserve the integrity of the breed. We breed for conformation, soundness, temperament, & beauty.

This is a bad attempt to make herself look better. Truth is, Sandy Wills, of MORNINGSTAR CHIHUAHUAS has avoided all of my attempts to get in touch with her. She forced me to file in court and I am now in the process of getting my money back for a dog I paid for, then died 5 days after receipt. I have had to retain the services of an Attorney. Sandy has done this before, but this time she is not getting away with it. I can not get Sandy to answer calls or certified letters. She refused them.

This is why it has gone to court. Sandy does not breed good dogs. Look at www.GemStonePuppies.com and you will see the dog she sent me as a replacement. This dog is not quality. It has a SEVERE undershot jaw. Sandy herself had ALL the money sent to her...Sandy herself sold me the dog. AKC has been informed and are well aware of her breeding practices. If you buy a dog from Sandy, do not expect her to stand behind what she sells. She will NOT do so. I have had numerous emails regarding the same thing she has done to others. Sandy can say anything she wants regarding the dogs I breed. But she does not know what she is talking about.

I have excellent healthy dogs and never have had a problem. This whole Rip-Off Report thing was started by Sandy in an attempt to make her look good. When in fact, it is HER who has caused this whole thing. She is not smart enough to fix the problem and go on...... She just does not stand behind what she sells. I intend to stop her from ever doing this to someone else again. It will cost her far more this way....but this is what she chooses. She can say she has all the good reviews in the world. I am sure they are friends of hers or the "lucky" ones that did not get the puppy with distemper, like the one she sent to me. Sandy is a vindective person who even threatened Betty.

Betty will now be involved in this, as Sandy insists Betty is at fault also. But according to law, me sending Sandy the money, Sandy shipping the dog and Sandy handling the entire transaction, Sandy is at fault. But Sandy insists Betty is at fault too. So, we shall see in the court hearing, just who is at fault. All I did was pay for a show potential dog that died of Distemper. No refund was provided and no similar quality puppy was sent. I was sent a "gift", which does not replace what I paid for. The "gift' has such an undershot jaw, out of her Champion Tango (who Sandy told me had a bad undershot jaw as a puppy...but it corrected), that it should never be bred.

It is not even going to make 3 lbs grown either. So, I have spent close to $3,000 on a dog that died (unhealthy when shipped), a necropsy and shipping for a "gift" puppy. THAT IS WRONG of Sandy to do to someone. So, if you feel you can trust a person like this....then go ahead and chance it. I know I will NEVER buy from her again and am telling everyone to BEWARE of her. So, Sandy..... I am asking again... Do you want to replace the puppy, take back the ugly little black puppy you pawned off on me ? Or........would you rather proceed in court ? So far, it is apparent Sandy would rather spend money going to court instead of making things right.

It is going to cost more going to court....but this is where the vindictive part shows. Something is very wrong with a person who acts like this. She avoids me....but writes things on this site. Wonder what she is really trying to prove ??????

Facing the person you wronged would be a good attempt to make things right.

I have also personaly been to her home, seen her dogs... the home and the dogs are kepted VERY clean and are took care of like they were Kings and Queens. IN FACT! I have even personaly witnessed births and how all the puppies and mothers are taken care of through the ENTIRE process. I dont' see how she could say these things... I have seen the statement made by the lady making this complaint. How she didn't see a vet and watch her puppy died and have seisures. She kennled her puppy as soon as she got it home... KENNLED IT ALONE as if putting it in a Kennel wasn't bad enough! She left the puppy out in the kennel in her own statement and said she didn't take it out till morning and then stuck her in a puppy pen. In her own statement she said that this dog was hypo everyday she checked this puppy and she didn't force feed... she didn't give it nutrical either... nope just KERO in the puppys water... any breeder knows that if they are Hypo they have to force feed and water. On top of that... a good breeder would have had their eye on that puppy 24/7 as soon as it came off the plane. The puppy missed its 10 week vaccination since it was hypo. She then left the puppy alone AGAIN from 7pm-10pm and then when she decided to check it, she found it in a CAGE she left it in, seizing!! She watched this puppy do this for 5 hours... 5 HOURS and said that she "called" her Vet, but her vet doesn't work on Sundays or Mondays so she was planning on taking it in on Tuesday. ANYONE... NOT JUST A BREEDER knows that in an emergancy that a vet WILL come in ANYTIME! I also encorage anyone who reads this to email me, see my myspace page of my Lil' Baby Girl, go see Sandy's page, call her, email her... I am sure she will answer to any question for she is a very kind and compationate lady. I too would love to answer any questions concerning this response to such horrable alagations. Again, I am SHOKED to read these alagations against someone who I have put all my trust in when it comes to beautiful show champions.

If anyone has read my original response to the lady who posted this and others about Morning Star Chihuahuas/Sandy Wills would have taken my advice. This complaint actually made me laugh. The original puppy WAS Betty's Dog. I have also ask Sandy about this, too and seen a personal email from Betty saying that this Dog was hers. Personaly I don't feel that Sandy was obligated in anyway to replace this dog with one of her own. I again encorage others who may come apon this horrable complaint of a wonderful woman and breeder to see my own personal dog from this breeder on my myspace page, on Sandy's very own page and to email me if they wish. I have the sister to the replacement puppy and she is stunning. I will personaly be showing her very shortly. Also I'd like to add that Sandy is a wonderful lady and has asked any and all questions I have had about these alagations and she has been open and honest with me and I encorage others to see her page, email her or even call her if you have questions of your own.

I, Betty Gxxxxx, used Sandy Wills to list and sell my pups for a 10% commission fee. A black and white female Chihuahua pup, AKC registration application # TR6698210 was listed for sale for $2,000.00. This pup's dam (mother), Davishall Lily Tomlin, AKC #TR33613602 belongs to me. The pup's sire (dad), CH Davishall Checkmate O'Breglenn belongs to Sandy Wills. This pup was sold to Cindy on 8-21-07. Cindy was not happy with the selling price and after negotiations, the pup was sold to her for $2,000.00 which included the shipping cost. The money collected by Sandy Wills was retained for a stud fee.

A signed Contract was received from Cindy, which firmly states that the pup must be taken to a vet for a complete vet check within 24 hours after receipt of pup. As far as I know, this pup was never taken to a vet and there was no vet report. A required vet report was never received.

Isn't this Betty Gxxxxxxxxx addmitting this was her dog NOT Sandy... the first puppy belonged to her... you know... the one that you let die, the one you left for 5 hours having seizures as you said in your own statement shown below. The one you didn't take to the Vet while it was going Hypo everyday for 5 days. The one you left alone in a cage for 5 days! The puppy you have now Sandy gave to you because Betty WOULD NOT give you a puppy! I own the sister to that puppy and she is wonderful and beautiful and she will be showing soon. Your only trying to ruin this womans good reputation. I know several people who have bought dogs from Sandy, and I know 3 other people who have puppies out of that replacement puppies litter and none of them have any problems! Thats the puppy YOU chose... I have read the e-mails where you demanded that she give you the puppy you have now! Its like having a child... you never know what can happen with them... that goes for puppies, too. Do you throw a child into a foster home because its teeth are bad? You bought the dog for breeding... last I knew that didn't matter when breeding. Lets see the dog now!))

Sept. 26, 2007

This puppy, age 9 weeks and 3 days, was picked up by me on Monday, Sept. 17th. She was very unhappy at the airport, crying. The flight upset her a lot. Temp was taken when I got home and was normal.

Puppy appeared normal. She was kenneled in my puppy room in a cage by herself that afternoon. She was not real happy she was alone.

The next morning (Tues., 18th) I put her in a larger puppy pen with a little female of mine, 1 week older. She seemed happier. That evening she went hypo and I fed her karo syrup in water, pet drops and wet food. She ate the wet food (lamb, chicken and rice) well for a few bites. Then backed off. I let her stay with the other little female all night.

The next morning (Wed, 19th) I fed them both wet food, put karo in their water bowl and played with them awhile. She did not eat much wet food. She seemed okay. That afternoon she went hypo again. I treated her the same as above.

Thurs. 20th, morn. I did the same routine. That evening she was hypo again. Still not eating much, but seemed like she wanted to eat.

Fri., 21st, she seemed fine all day and evening. She ate a bit of wet food….

Sat., 22nd, I let two other puppies about the same age and her and the little one she was with, all on the floor to play awhile. It was about ½ hour. She walked around more than played. This was the first time any of the puppies were out of the cage. I do not put my puppies on the floor until 10 weeks of age and two vaccinations have been given. She was now due for her 10 week vaccination, but I did not give it to her due to her having the hypo episodes. She wanted me to pick her up…. I did for a few min. then put her back down. About 5 pm I fed them wet food. She ate some…but not much. I checked on them at 7 pm and everyone was fine. At 10 pm I went to do my last check and found her slobbering, head shaking, watery fixed eyes and having chewing movements of the jaws. There was loose stool the color of yellow, cottage cheese like, in the bottom tray. When picking her up she was very hot to my hand. More yellow stool started coming out. I tried to get water and karo down her, pet drops, but she was not swallowing. She continued to slobber and then I noticed her muzzle having contractions or twitches. I took her temp and it was 103.3 …. I wet a dish towel and wrapped her in it to bring down the fever, which it did. I then noticed her flinching at my hand being in view. She would quickly jerk away from me as if I was scaring her. Like a quick ducking motion. During all of this her heart was racing. I had been checking her heartbeat each day when she was having the hypo incidents and it was rather slow. This was extremely fast. I worked with her until about 12:30 am …. She had not changed. She was not dehydrated at all. She was sitting upright slobbering and doing the chewing movements while the muzzle was twitching. Her head still felt pretty hot…although the body felt cooler now. I put a call to my Vet for advice. I put her in a little plastic container and towel on my bed. I kept one eye open and tried to rest a little. At 3 am she let out a cry and she took one big breath….then three smaller ones…then died. It took a total of 5 hours and she was gone. This was an extremely quick onset and finish.

My Vet does not work Sun. or Monday, so I refrigerated the corpse. On Tues., the 25th I took it into the Vet and had a necropsy performed. Results are pending. I did however, get a statement from my Vet on Tues., which I am including with this.

I also had my puppy that was with the dead puppy for 4 days, examined and she was fine. No stool issues or irregularities.

The initial exam after receipt of the puppy was informal, not in a Vet office. A small animal and Equine Vet was at my home and I ask him to take a look. The exam was listening to the heart and visual. Puppy seemed normal.

i happen to come across this report on my breeder when i was searching for her website to purchase ANOTHER puppy, i purchased my 1st puppy from her 4 yrs ago and it was the best decision i could of made, i received all paperwork with up to date shots as well as a health guarantee. i must say when i received my pup it was quite obvious that these pups were very well taken care of, my pup showed no sings whatsoever of mistreatment. These types of comments disgust me, because this breeder was adamant about us taking our pup to the vet and having him checked and to be sure he was healthy, which he was.... do not listen to this same person saying the same thing over & over & over again, clearly they are just out to hurt this breeders reputation. DONT FALL FOR IT, this breeder is excellent!!

That is all that needs to be said. But I would like to go on and state that I am sorry for all the people that have been placed on rip-off report that should not have been. These reports are never taken off of their site, there for evil minded people can place a report on any one they wish to slander. Giving these lies eternal life. So people keep this in mind when reading any report found on this site. I am sure there are just as many true reports as false there for you must find other avenues to investigate these businesses.

So things did not work out between Cindy and I it happens. Things never should have gone to this extreme. But they did. I wish her nothing but the best.

You stated in your report that Sandy gave you a puppy to replace the one you got from Betty then made the papers limited. How is it then that you have her on your site as sold, with full AKC papers. Oh and you even state that she free whelps how would you know that unless you bred her???

Go ahead fell free to remove it Jack has printed it out and made a video of your site he even has pictures as evidence. Thanks for helping us out. If any one wishes to see the pictures please contact Jack, Sandy or myself.

If your innocent why have you changed your name to Ann Tanner and changed the name of your web site to Champion Line Chihuahuas then to Charming Little Chis. Sandy has not run, she never changed her web site because she knows people know they can trust her, and she has the proof on her side.

Cindy I have read all the E Mails between you and Sandy. WOW you kinda sound like an Att. NOT! But you tried… Don’t you know she has all of your e-mails and a letter e-mailed to her from Betty saying the dog belonged to her. Are you out of your mind. I hope everyone that reads the crap you have written about Sandy calls her so she can send them the e-mails. So they can see what kind of person you are for their selves.

Do you really think people are dumb enough to believe that she would be criminally investigated as you put it, over something like this. Are you serious! How stupid do you think people are???

Stop messing with peoples lives, we are finding each other and we will fight back. You need to write rebuttal to fix all the nasty stuff you have written about all these people, here and on puppy find. I we will not relent.

I am happy to inform you that I am putting together a group of breeders and people who have bought puppies from her and were scammed. Just like you. I will be contacting you via e-mail, in hopes that you will join us in stopping this madness.

People if you are reading this and other reports posted by Cindy /Ann be aware this is her way of forcing them to bend to her will. Do not be fooled by her vicious tactics she will say or do any thing to ware her victim down. She uses Puppy Find as well to rip up people. BEWARE!

Morning Star I am sorry that you fell victim to her as so many others. Lets work together to stop her.

Yes, I am a friend of Cindy Kearney.  She married Chuck Tanner and became Cindy Tanner.  That is a very normal thing to do.  Change your last name.   Chuck passed away in 2000.  After a lady, Holly Maxwell and her bought two Champion dogs together, Holly wanted Cindy to change her website name and use her middle name...thus, Ann Tanner.  People do this all the time.  I have other friends that go by their middle name.  Holly felt that Gemstone Puppies was not sophisticated enough for a website she would be connected with.   So, Holly suggested Charming Little Chis, also dba Champion Line Chihuahuas.  Make a new look.   All the bad things written about my friend, Cindy is not even a tiny bit true.  All these "so called Christians" wanted, was for Cindy not to be competition for them.  Writing things was the only way they knew to make her look bad.  These people, Morning Star Chihuahuas, Sandy Wills, My Fabulous Longcoats, Donne Reid, have Christian symbols on their websites and in no way can be a born again Christian.  If they were, they would not offend God by writing this stuff.  Christians do not engage in this sort of thing.  I am here to say that Cindy Ann Kearney-Tanner is a very nice person that paid a lot of money for dogs, that she did not get.  I have known Cindy for years and have seen the dogs mentioned.  Also, Cindy dropped her lawsuit due to the expenses getting higher than originally stated by her Attorney.  It was never thrown out of court.  It was just pulled, by Cindy.  I think it was a good move, as it was not worth spending more money on.  It had happened and it was over.  Cindy got ripped off !  The people that did it got away with it..for now.  God will not bless these people.  Until they admit what they did, they will never enter into the kingdom of Heaven.  This is all I have to say. 

You are very correct in writing what you did !  Good for you.  I knew Cindy when she lived here in Pahrump.  She was a very good breeder.  What she did wrong was BUY from other nasty breeders.  she had enough of her own nice dogs.  Live and learn I guess.  God will deal with all of them.  He always does.  Overcome Evil with Good.
