We took Lola a 10 month old resque dog in for check up and spade. They said to purchase a plan that covered everything and set up the spade appt. When we got there they said the spade would be $400 more dollars! I said I would have never purchased the policy if this was the case.We requested a meeting with the doctor and 2 persons of the office staff. One staff member said in the argument that they never mentioned spading, and then proceeded to state they talked of a discount on the spade. I said if this was the case I would have left, because I could not afford this. Dr.Sung Jung Lim stated sthe trusted her employee because she had worked there a year and was ending my contract with no refund. All I wanted was for Lola a rescue dog to get a spade. I could have taken her to the humane society, but thought this was a better deal. I offered to pay this because my love for animals, but Banfield must just be in it for the money and not the good of the pets. I have given Banfield $384.87 for one doctor's visit. I think we should be entitled to a refund for $203.40 for the plan and $69.95 for the membership fee.I don't have the money to now get a spade for Lola because Banfield ripped me off. Banfield doesn't care about the dogs, just the money.

All contracted terms are in the agreement as I have several pets on wellness plans and am very happy...you must know what is included in your pets plan if you would have read the agreement before signing your name to it...

I started at Banfield when it was a charter hospital, now we are OWNED by corporate. And all they care about is money. And please do not think that any of that money goes to the "petnurses". Because it does not. As for the wellness plan they signed you up for, check to see if it was a puppy plan(which is only good up to 6 mths of age). If it was not, you were lied to. Please check your original agreement that you signed. If you were told it was a puppy plan which is $99.95 down plus $21.95 a month (the basic wellness plan) which includes spay or castration and have bank statements to prove it, you need to consult a lawyer. That is BANFIELDS error, regardless of what you signed. At 10 months you could only get on the adult wellness plan, which does not include spay/neuter.
Check and let me know because I want to help you and your pet. I may be employed by this company, but my only commitment is to the pets and parents.
Since we were sold back to corporate they have raised their prices and overcharge for services, tests and meds.
