Cedar Valley Teddybears - Rena & Ronald McBride STOLE $500 DEPOSIT ON PUPPY at PUPPYFIND.COM, ripoff Cedar Falls Iowa

Saw them on PuppyFind and after seeing pups pictures, sent them $500. non-refundable deposit. This would be okay, except after two days they sent me pics of the puppy AFTER going to pick him up at the breeder. They made me feel they were the breeders... but are BROKERS.
This puppy looked nothing like the pic of the puppy I sent the $500. deposit on. I immed. called them and confronted them about this... they said it was the puppy. I ask for my money back, as I think they grossly misrepresented the pup. I said I did not want this pup.
Rena said since I did not want the puppy, I no longer have a deposit on him. In other words, there was no refund and they are keeping the $500. Then they changed the price from $900. to $2000. A day later they changed it to $3000. A day later posted SOLD. This was the same puppy.
I filed a PayPal repost and making a long story short... PayPal decided the case in my favor. When they tried to get my money back, there was $0.22 in the account.
First of all, PayPal should freeze the $500. as soon as a dispute is filed. Instead, they give the scammer sufficient time to remove all of the money. Not what I call real smart ! Anyway, CEDAR VALLEY TEDDY BEARS IN IOWA are nothing more than puppy brokers and big time SCAMMERS !!! But I am not finished with them yet... I WILL get my money back !!!

WE DID NOT STEAL $500. When I talked to Cindy prior to her sending her $500 nonrefundable deposit she was told the puppy had not gained any weight but had grown in height. She decided she wanted the dog. All she said was that she wanted a MICRO.
I have talked with several breeders of Yorkshire Terriers and "Micro" is anything UNDER 3 POUNDS FULL GROWN. HE WAS 1.7lbs.
The next day she asked for some pictures so we sent them to her. Then she wanted more pictures in different poses. We did that.
She finally emailed and said she DID NOT WANT THE DOG. THAT is when the puppy went back up for sale.
The price mark up only reflects the date and prices going up for Christmas. And the price of the dog is NOT what the dog actually sold for.
Cindy herself is a breeder and she has a nonrefundable deposit as well.
We are not BROKERS. We don't even come close to it. She obviously is not educated on what the proper terms are.
We are a Pet Shop. She just doesn't want to follow the rules - even when they are the same as hers.

This story is NOT true. They have filed a report on me to "get back" at me for ruining their reputation.... It reflects no wrong doing on my part. They have committed Fraud by Theft at the Federal level because of interstate business activity. These are VERY DISHONEST people. Their State Attorney General's office and the Dep. of Agriculture in their State will receive a detailed report of their business activity. People like this will eventually be put out of business. May take awhile...but it can happen.
Do not use paypal to pay people. Paypal does not protect the consumer. Even though I won the dispute....Paypal washed their hands of it after they found $.22 cents ... They still let these people use PayPal.....and Puppyfind still lets them advertise. It's all about "money" to both services. As long as it benefits those two companies... You are "on your own" with both services. If you want to take it further, you will need an attorney.
