Our experience in 2009 with DogsGoWalking (aka - Dogs Go Walking Pet Sitting, Careless Boarding, and Scoopervisor) has left us to believe it is a very dubious company to say the very least.
All these companies are owned by a woman named Monika Stefaniak and she operates these companies through the web sites
www.DogsGoWalking.com, www.cagelessboarding.com, and www.ScooperVisor.com. Also, this company is affiliated in some way with another company called HealthPetNet (www.mypetfoodinfo.com).
The owner claims these companies are fully insured and bonded, but we found out the "pet sitter" it had coming into our house had no insurance and was not bonded. Additionally, we know for fact another one of the "pet sitters" who works for this company never had to go through a background check (something the company claims is required of all its employees and representatives.)
After we stopped using this company, we met someone who claimed one of this company's employees almost killed her dog by allowing it to eat some sweets and then attempted to hide what happened.
Also, we spoke with one of its "pet sitters" while she was walking another dog next to A1A out on Hollywood Beach one evening and based on the smell of her breath it was obvious she had been drinking (this company's "pet sitters" are easy to spot as they wear shirts with the company's web site printed on it).
If you ever do decide to use this company, be sure to insist on seeing a current copy of its active insurance policy and ask for proof that whoever is going to be in your home is actually bonded and has had a recent back ground checked performed.
We personally are a little frightened that we were lied to and allowed such people in our house while we were away. After what we learned about this company and its employees we changed the security codes to our alarm system and are now back to boarding our dog with the vet when we leave town.
