Pet Pro Life / Petsmart / Pet Supply Pet Supply, Fountain Valley, WON'T ADOPT PUPPY TO ME EVEN THO I MORE THAN QUALIFY - THEY USE ALL THE LAME EXCUSES Huntington Beach, California

I went to Petsmart to adopt a beautiful 6 month old pit bull named SUGAR.  I have successfully raised 2 pit bulls previously and my 13 year old pit is on her last leg so I wanted to get SUGAR cuz she is the spitting image of my 13 year old pit and has zero aggression in her.   They rejected me cuz they said since I work 4 hours a day that the puppy would have to be alone and needs socialization.  She is not exactly a puppy, more like a teenager at this point and 4 hours alone is nothing compared to someone who works full time.  They then stated that since I work part time that I cannot afford the dog.   I went to Petsmart the next day and told them that yes I work 4 hour days but I could get a pet sitter or take the dog to work or have a neighbor come watch her while I work and that my man makes $80,000 a year and that I would be the most loving, responsible owner for SUGAR and that I would socialize her constantly and put her into obedience immediately.  I have numerous references and they still won't give me the dog.  

Now today they have the nerve to send me an email that they have an 8 month old pit who will be sent to the pound if they can't find her a home by this Friday!!!  WHAT NERVE!!  I am not good enough for the dog I want but I am good enough for a dog that no one else wants and that is going to the pound!!!!!?????  I told them to kiss mine and that I am reporting them to the BBB and RIP OFF REPORT!!! 

Anyhow, just wanted to warn you all that if you go to Petsmart and try to adopt an animal from PET PRO LIFE that not only will they make you jump thru all these hoops, they will not give you the dog even tho you are responsible, loving and could have given the animal a wonderful loving life but will reject you because of all these stupid reasons that make sense to no one but them!!!
