Puppyfind.com Misleading! They allow the breeders to erase bad reviews. On-line Internet

I meet a lady from puppy find. I was newbie and she got me to wire her $1,200.00 for a virgin solid chocolate akc great pedigree all though I never saw it. She recieved all emails through her company in Arkansas. She said I owed her 300.00 for shipping when from same state I got a champion male from Continental for less. the person was not wanting to get health certificate for female to fly. I have started only using puppyfind for out of country or Reputable Breeders. Always get vet refrences and puppies adopted from breeder. do research on which ever breed you want. I think we can do alot better than puppyfind.com I believe we should. But the responsible party is both but do not buy from backyard breeder. lose lose situation

go figure no breeders alot of them too. over 2,000 shi-tzus. over 3,0000 yorkies

the same thing happened to me.. i bought a sick dog a neg review was written and they took it down now the woman has been charged with selling dogs in a court of law and they have been informed of this over selling a second sick dog and they are still allowing her to sell through them! so the we will evaluate the breeder thing is crap! they dont even care when the person is in court over it. they are still allowing her ads.

I wish I would have gone to RipOffReport.Com before I used puppyfind.com. I too placed a less than positive review against a seller and my review was removed. I was told that I can submit the documentation to puppyfind.com to support my review and they would make a decision as to whether or not the review sticks. But of course they didnt provide me with the information on how to submit these details. I am so frustrated but I am not going to give up. I am going to do everything I can to ensure that this doesn't continue to happen to unsuspecting buyers! I am glad to see the other reports on this website. Maybe if we keep it up something will be done.

I too have been ripped off by a breeder and have written reviews on puppyfind only to have them removed. I think it is sad that those people can continue to use puppyfind and sell their junk. WHERE are the honest people in this world?

I got a male shih-tzu 3 yrs ago and thought I wanted too breedd lol anyway I love my pets period but puppyfind does not care about you unless you pay them if you pay you have ball in your court. If you have not seen over 2,000 shih-tzu so they say for sale that are filthy in cages in to me is in poor taste for a company to print such pics on web site

Puppy finders is not fair! I also wrote a negitive review and got it earsed! I paid for a puppy and got ripped off! puppy finders needs to LEAVE THE BAD REVIEWS! SO unexpecting people can watch out for the breeders that rip you off! This Lady has had other bad reviews that have also been earsed!

Before I bought my AKC collie I also checked out this "place". I did not get a good reaction from the emails. It was all about the money, where to send it, how much. Not a word about the puppys, nothing asked about me and what type a home i have, what was I looking for in a puppy, my family dynamics......nothing.

So I went back to what worked for me all my life. I found a local family where I could visit inside and outside the house and I knew after visiting the 2nd house I knew I had found my beautiful puppy, whom I named " Lashes". I have always found the best homes are small homes with the mom and dad on the property and where I can sit down ask questions and they with me. It seems to work best that way for me. Yes there are honest people out there. I think long distance the variables of what can go wrong are just way too high!

I encountered a terrible breeder on puppyfind.com Loomisdanes.net. we bought a 12 week old Great Dane, Had him Shipped to us ($300) paid $650 for him. When he arrived, he was very, very small. He arrived with a Bogus vet check, but it had is actual Date of birth on it, turns out he was 18 weeks old!!!! Tammy Loomis listed him as 12 weeks old because he was sooooo Small. We took him to the vet and he was infested with worms and parasites and almost died from Guardia.

I reported this to the breeder, who didnt care. I too left her a poor feedback, and within 24 hours, the feedback was gone! I reported it to the website, they did not care. I made up to 20 different google e-mail addresses just to leave her a review because you can only leave ONE!

She then sent me an e-mail stating she was going to sue me because I was leaving these remarks which were costing her sales! I had to give up because maiing the new e-mail accounts became very tiresome. I will never buy another dog from puppyfind.com which is full of puppy mills.

do NOT pay any attention to their feedback, sellers/breeders are allowed to delete any reviews they want at any time, only leaving them with the good reviews! They have also been known to create bogus accounts and leave feedback for themselves!

These are copies of e-mails between LoomisDanes and Kelli over the puppy she claimed was ill. I would like all side to be heard to this complaint.

I was informed this morning by a lady I know who does Great dane rescue programs...She says he looks as though he might have HOD! Which Im sure you know is a Bone disease. Were you aware of any of this??? I guess I will find out more once he goes to the vet

We are very Un happy with our Purchuse. This puppy is much, much smaller then I could ever have aniticipated him to be! His joints look lik he might have HOD which is a bone groth Diease. He has a terrible, and I do mean terrible rash on his Tummy and on each of his dog like elbows. He is really underweight, and not RUNT underweight, I mean not enough food underweight!!!! He ate food here like he has never seen food in his entire life! And You can not only feel his ribs, but the are visible!!! He is deff under fed! You said he was not raised in a kennel but he acts as though he has never seen a human in his life except maybe a vet! He wont allow human contact, only dog contact, which shows me he spent all his time with other dogs! Not humans. This puppy does not look and act as if he was properly taken care of. I am not really sure what I am supposed to do in this situation.....I have a feel after talking with you a few times that you are not going to be so nice in hearing this news, because there were many times when I noticed a negetive tone to your voice, but didn't say anything at risk of not gettting the puppy. I am going to leave the resolution up to you, I am not even going to make a suggestion as to how to resolve this terrible circumstance, And if I receive a mean letter back(Though I have done nothing wrong) or If I do not find your suggestions reasonable, I will be forced to file a dispute with paypal, and I will have my vet write up all the paper work for proof for my claim that everything I claim is wrong with him is true because it is. Hello, I am not going to write you a terrible letter back for I have no reason too. The baby has not even been in your home 24 hours and you are already to give up on him. You may send him back in his crate I will pay his airfare and refund your money on the puppy but not the airfare it took to get him to you. He has been in my home and handled daily. He has food available all the time and played with by my grandchildren regularly. He has flown many miles changed environments, water and apparently food. changing his food is understandable he will eat like he is going to the electric chair. That is common in just about any animal for it is new. He does not have HOD and if you have ever had any experience with this you would know this but could give it to him changing food. He is a growing puppy not over weight and not under weight and if you are so dissatisfied after not even a day then you are correct you should not keep him. Second I would never send him C.O.D. and Last You should at least refund me my airfair which was well over priced anyways. I will not give this dog back to you EVER! I will be filing a claim with ebay, I would at least like my Air fair returned to me for such an inconvience you have caused! If I knew the condition of the dog, I would never have bought him! Sorry for my attitude, I am very upset. After almost a month of e-mails which I have kept in a folder and all the phone calls from Kelli I receive a phone call and an e-mail from a lady that states she had purchsed this puppy the day after he arrived to Kelli. I never did receive any vet paper work of any kind from a vet confirming Kelli's acqusations.

Hello Tara, I am not sure at the time you purchased the puppy on the 9th, but thought you would like to see that Kellie had requested her money back by paypal on the 9th at 9.02 pm, This is a copy of the e-mail I was sent, So if they had of agreed she would have been reimbursed this amount plus the money she sold the puppy to you for, However, Paypal rejected her claim, for which I am grateful, Tammy

Whats more, I was so touched by her story that I was going to send her the additional $500 to equal the amount she told me she paid for the dog. Which in reality would have been more than she paid for the dog plus shipping. I'm glad I didn't. I'm glad I have the dog. I also e-mailed Jessica at puppyfind.com and told her I was withdrawing my complaint. Thank you for the picture. I will send you some of my little guy soon. Thank you again.

She probably is raising hell with the breeders. But I'm sure they will learn to ignore her calls and her e-mails just as you have done. Its not worth it. Here are some recent pictures of my little guy. His name is Posiden, but we just call him Cy. He is very healthy and adjusting well in our home. I love him and am so happy she did not like him and sold him to me. I will keep you updated as he grows.

Hello Jessica, Tara called our home on Sunday 05/25/2008 spoke with me about the puppy for about 1 1/2 hours. Told me she barely knew Kelli, Tara stated, she paid Kellie $500.00 for the Harlequin puppy and that she was upset for she felt Kellie had not been honest with her about us. Tara stated that she loved the puppy, he slept with her, he was doing great, was a little shy at first, which she blamed on the changing of homes and not knowing her, but now he follows her everywhere and was the best puppy ever and she had named him Cy, she e-mailed me pictures of him and told us she would stay in touch and send pictures of Cy as he grew up. Tara was very nice and polite told us she was 19 years old and that Kellie was she thought around 25 yrs old. Tara told us the puppy had not been to a vet till she took him herself on the 20th due to Cy having diarrhea and that Kellie had stretched the story about the puppy all out of proportion, but she did not care for she loved him and was glad we had shipped him and that she had him now. Tara stated he had already gained 6 pounds since she had him that he ate dirt while at her home and she was having difficulty getting him to stop, and was aware he could of gotten hookworms from the dirt he had eaten. Tara stated "the puppy had not been to the vet till she took him on the 20th and her vet could not say the puppy got the hookworms from us due to the time frame that had passed from the puppy arriving in Maryland to the time he was taken to the vet." Tara told us that she had the vet paper work on Cy we had sent with him and that her vet had stated that the puppy had good vaccinations placed in him and the vet had stated, the puppy was small for a Great Dane but not small for a runt and that she knew it was impossible to place 40 pounds on a puppy his size. Tara also stated she had no idea where Kellie come with the HOD claim from, that her vet never once said the puppy had that and that she did not even know what it was. Tara told us that she was writing you a note that she was dropping all charges. Tara was upset when I sent her the paypal e-mail of Kellie wanting refunded by us for the puppy after she had sold him to Tara on the same night. Tara apologized to us and told us she had been terrible mislead by Kellie and was sorry for all the problems that she may of caused us. Tara told us that Kellie had purchased 2 more Great Dane puppies during this time frame, that Kellie liked one but was doing to the other breeder what she has done to us over the other puppy for she did not like it either. I Told Tara we had approx 47 e-mails from Kellie and multiple harassing and threatening phone calls from Kellie on our answering machine. 6 on Saturday alone 05/24/2008. We had the Sheriffs office show up at our home on Monday 05/26/08 and tell us Kellie had called them 6 times wanting us closed down and all our dogs confiscated. After visiting our home and looking at our dogs, The Sheriffs office took copies of all her e-mails and Tara's along with our vet paper work and visited with our vet who also is the vet that does the USDA inspections in our area. The Sherriff's office told us we had a civil suit we could and should file against Kellie for slander and harassment. They told us they were going to call Kellie and that this was over with them and that they would tell her they would not except anymore false claims from her. Our vet was surprised this had gotten so out of hand with nothing but accusations from Kellie and no physical proof in writing provided to anyone by her and us having proof the puppy had a through physical before he left our home on multiple occasions. Thank you for the information. As far as Puppyfind is concerned, this complaint is closed. I have already told Kellie that it would not be proceeding.

We also received threats and name-calling due to our refusal to A)accept a vet report from the 20th when we asked (on the 19th)for vet reports from the 9th and B)refusal to reinstate the review with lack of supporting documentation.

The review has been permanently deleted from your account and no further action will be taken.

Oh wow, I am so sorry, I am glad we visited and that you did not send her additional money as well. My concern, is she doing this to another breeder now and making them look as bad as she did us?? She probably is raising hell with the breeders. But I'm sure they will learn to ignore her calls and her e-mails just as you have done. Its not worth it. Here are some recent pictures of my little guy. His name is Posiden, but we just call him Cy. He is very healthy and adjusting well in our home. I love him and am so happy she did not like him and sold him to me. I will keep you updated as he grows.

Hello Jessica, Tara called our home on Sunday 05/25/2008 spoke with me about the puppy for about 1 1/2 hours. Told me she barely knew Kelli, Tara stated, she paid Kellie $500.00 for the Harlequin puppy and that she was upset for she felt Kellie had not been honest with her about us. Tara stated that she loved the puppy, he slept with her, he was doing great, was a little shy at first, which she blamed on the changing of homes and not knowing her, but now he follows her everywhere and was the best puppy ever and she had named him Cy, she e-mailed me pictures of him and told us she would stay in touch and send pictures of Cy as he grew up. Tara was very nice and polite told us she was 19 years old and that Kellie was she thought around 25 yrs old. Tara told us the puppy had not been to a vet till she took him herself on the 20th due to Cy having diarrhea and that Kellie had stretched the story about the puppy all out of proportion, but she did not care for she loved him and was glad we had shipped him and that she had him now. Tara stated he had already gained 6 pounds since she had him that he ate dirt while at her home and she was having difficulty getting him to stop, and was aware he could of gotten hookworms from the dirt he had eaten. Tara stated "the puppy had not been to the vet till she took him on the 20th and her vet could not say the puppy got the hookworms from us due to the time frame that had passed from the puppy arriving in Maryland to the time he was taken to the vet." Tara told us that she had the vet paper work on Cy we had sent with him and that her vet had stated that the puppy had good vaccinations placed in him and the vet had stated, the puppy was small for a Great Dane but not small for a runt and that she knew it was impossible to place 40 pounds on a puppy his size. Tara also stated she had no idea where Kellie come with the HOD claim from, that her vet never once said the puppy had that and that she did not even know what it was. Tara told us that she was writing you a note that she was dropping all charges. Tara was upset when I sent her the paypal e-mail of Kellie wanting refunded by us for the puppy after she had sold him to Tara on the same night. Tara apologized to us and told us she had been terrible mislead by Kellie and was sorry for all the problems that she may of caused us. Tara told us that Kellie had purchased 2 more Great Dane puppies during this time frame, that Kellie liked one but was doing to the other breeder what she has done to us over the other puppy for she did not like it either. I Told Tara we had approx 47 e-mails from Kellie and multiple harassing and threatening phone calls from Kellie on our answering machine. 6 on Saturday alone 05/24/2008. We had the Sheriffs office show up at our home on Monday 05/26/08 and tell us Kellie had called them 6 times wanting us closed down and all our dogs confiscated. After visiting our home and looking at our dogs, The Sheriffs office took copies of all her e-mails and Tara's along with our vet paper work and visited with our vet who also is the vet that does the USDA inspections in our area. The Sherriff's office told us we had a civil suit we could and should file against Kellie for slander and harassment. They told us they were going to call Kellie and that this was over with them and that they would tell her they would not except anymore false claims from her. Our vet was surprised this had gotten so out of hand with nothing but accusations from Kellie and no physical proof in writing provided to anyone by her and us having proof the puppy had a through physical before he left our home on multiple occasions. Thank you for the information. As far as Puppyfind is concerned, this complaint is closed. I have already told Kellie that it would not be proceeding.

We also received threats and name-calling due to our refusal to A)accept a vet report from the 20th when we asked (on the 19th)for vet reports from the 9th and B)refusal to reinstate the review with lack of supporting documentation.

The review has been permanently deleted from your account and no further action will be taken.
