2008 Victim of RGV-Puppies

Paid: 250.00 deposit for second 8 wk. old Chihuahua
Upon receiving the Chihuahua I noticed he was ultra tiny, so tiny in fact I was afraid to take him out of the house once we got home. My family and I agreed there was no way this puppy could be 8 wks. old, he didn't even have teeth yet! Our vet agreed this was a very young pup, but without official papers we could not know for sure how old.
I was concerned because I had already put a second deposit with Jessi Benavidez for a second puppy playmate for the first pup-and told her to please send me the papers ASAP. She went on to calm me down and explain that Tiny Teacup Chihuahuas are that small and not to worry as she had verbally stated and advertised this pup to grow no larger then 2lbs full grown. The pup is now a full grown 6lb adult (but that's another story).
1 week went by and I noticed the puppy was rectally bleeding and constantly itching. The vet diagnosed him with MANGE and INTESTINAL PARASITES. All of which comes from a puppy living in poor conditions at a puppy mill. (many vet visits and medications and another circa.. $1,000 in vet bills and time off work to care for the tiny pup later and it was cured).
During that time I contact Jessi Benavidez and told her what happened and how I do not want another of her puppies and to refund my second $250.00 deposit AT LEAST!!! This was after several desperate attempts to contact her about helping us and informing her that the other puppies probably have these same illnesses-since MANGE is inherited and the PARASITES are all over the puppies inside and out!
NONE of my emails were answered! I even tried to get Paypal to refund some of my money and they would not get involved. Paypal refused to refund me even the $250 deposit for a second puppy that I never even got. I tried to use the undelivered option as cause and that to did not work as Paypal stated "deposits are not refundable".
BEWARE: this is why Jessi Benavidez and her operation insists on using Paypal ONLY because they know they can get away with their scam.
BUYER BEWARE: Unless you are willing to invest a few thousand dollars to rescue one of this operations puppies PLEASE STAY AWAY!
We are out of circa $3500.00 cash PLUS time off work, absolute heart ache.
What we thought we bought was a healthy ($1250.00 purchase price)8 wk. old pure bred Tiny Tea Cup Chihuahua advertised 2lb full grown.
What we got was thousands in vet bills, missed days of work, plenty of tears, and a very very sickly super young Toy chihuahua who is now 6lbs full grown.
Full grown now he does have trachea issues (which are also hereditary). What a journey with this little guy whose name is little Tom-Henry.
NO PAPERS were ever sent to us-so add to the fact and as my vet says you got ripped off and should not have had to pay more then a few hundred dollars "if that" for this animal.
I wish the other victims report would have showed up in the search engines when I researched this company. I've had my account on goggle set to email me any time something is published about this company and today was the first day ripp off report came up so I had to take this opportunity to report this evil crime.
If enough people see this and the word gets out I am confident there are hundreds, God forbid maybe even thousands of people around the country who are victims. Post your report please!
