I ordered a set of two touch lamps from this company. They are backed by Yahoo (which I am writing next). When received I noticed one panel of glass was missing from our touch lamp. Investigating further, I noticed one of the pieces of glass was wrapped in newspaper as opposed to the rest in bubble wrap.
I assumed it was due to a customer sending it back. Why would one piece be wrapped in Newspaper?
I wrote the company and asked for my replacement piece to be sent and this time faster shipment so I wouldn't have to wait for my product to be fully assembled. I was sent a very rude email from customer service which I'll paste in a moment.
I called the company, first call, they hung up the phone. Second call a man that refused to tell me his name started to cuss me out and then when I asked to speak to the supervisor, he claimed he was the boss, I asked for his name, refused. Then he said "I'm hanging up on you" and he was gone. I am going to make sure every single website supporting this company as well as the BBB is informed. Please do not shop at this company for they are very unprofessional. I am concerned of the quality of my lamps and wonder if they are created in their backyard and wired by unprofessional persons.
We
check every piece of glass and all the hardware by hand before
shipping.Orders placed now are shipping within 1-2 business days. >>>>>I
That is on their website. Had that been true, I would have received all of my glass
The following is the email I received:

Whatever Diana. We wrap it in newspaper ourselves. This tells me you don't
know what you are talking about. If it only had 5 panels it is because the
person packaging it had checked the glass and possibly had 1 or 2 chipped and
replaced 1 instead of 2. We will get another packaged and ship it by Priority
Mail. If that is not good enough repackage it and we will have UPS pick it up.
Thanks Diana.
