Appliance Store advertises a $600 rebate on purchase of a $400 and up appliance. You are given a packet to 'read later'. Oh boy what you find out! This is a deal where, for TWO YEARS, you send in grocery receipts monthly to get a $25 Visa card each month. Interesting way to receive a $600 rebate!  The "rules" are 31 in number, all designed to make it impossible for you to actually be able to complete the chore. the company, My Free Travel, changes the rules without letting anyone, including the participating stores, know.

In addition to the laughable terms, they cashed my check the beginning of October, but have not updated my records despite numerous phone calls and emails. Most recently, I was absolutely, positively assured an update by today by 'Kim'. Guess what? No update.

I did inquire of the Appliance Store and they are absolutely sure this program is fullly funded. Ha! We'll see about that!

It's a scam. The Better Business Bureau of Joliet, Il where they are headquartered, has kicked them out of the BBB due to all the complaints. Sounds like a class action suit in the making
