I purchased 2 sets of coin operated washer and dryers thinking I would be headache free from repairing my old machines for 2 years. Wrong! Federico at Sear Forest Hill Blvd Greenacres in Florida told me there is a full 2 year warranty. Since there was no floor model and no information to be read, I went by this salesmen's word.

Well, 3 months after my purchase, I had a problem with a washer and I was told that there is a 2 year warranty on parts only and I would have to pay their technician $125.00 to determine what part was needed. I couldn't get my own technician  and I was told I had to pay theirs. Wonderful, labor it always more costly.

I called the salesperson Federico and he verified that there is a 2 year warranty and even the appliance manager said 2 years, but when I told them what Sears customer service warranty department said about 90 day warranty, he checked and corrected the information. The manager told me I should have read the warranty information when it was delivered. Great, so if I didn't like the 90 days warranty I would have been responsible for 15% restocking fee and shipping it back to them.

Who in the right mind would agree to a 90 day warranty?????? Both manager and salesman thought it was 2 year warranty.

In the meantime, I am stuck with 4 machines with no warranty. $3019.25 down the drain. I would have loved to return them but I had only 30 days and 15% restocking fee. All they can say is sorry, but I am the one losing.

Run from these machines and SEARS !!! I want my money back, you can have these machines.

Sear Kenmore coin operated washer dryer 90 day warranty scam

AUTHOR: Barbara - LAKE WORTH (U.S.A.)

OMG, I'm floored. I called Sears for a part (tumbler) which costs $12.95 that I thought was under the 2 year part warranty offered. ( I was already shocked  when I found out that there is only 90 manufacture warranty, not the 2 year warranty I was told by the salesperson).

Well get this, you have to pay their technician $125.00 to inspect it to make sure it qualifies to be covered under their warranty.

I can't believe I am stuck with these machines. When I tried to leave the feedback on their Sears website on these machines, it never gets published. They hide warranty information on these machines. Its hard to get any correct warranty on these machines from the sales people. They don't have that information either. BAD, BAD way of doing business.

Kenmore Front Load Washer & Dryer Coin operated

AUTHOR: Barbara - LAKE WORTH (USA)

I have left my reply on these machines several time on the Sears website and it never gets published. I am happy to say I just bought 2 sets of top load coin operated washer & dryer and my tenants are ecstatic.  They are able to put more clothes in and don't get upset when they want to add one more piece of clothing because it does open any time.

I lost so much money in the 2 years of having these 2 sets of clunkers and I was so happy I took a heavy loss and sold them.
There should be a class action suit to stop making these Kenmore Machines as commercial grade when they are residential grade.

Their customer service absolutely stink. I've had my own business for 13 years and I've been working in customer service for the past 30+ years and they put you on hold and are terrible. My comments on these machines should be published to review by other shoppers. Wrong toleave the positive one on top all the time. BAD MACHINES!!!!
