We purchased a new home with all-Whirlpool appliances in November, 2010.  We have had seven service calls on a dishwasher that has never worked properly, and now is not working at all.  The service contractor asked us not to call them back. 

Whirlpool sent another contractor, who said also that they were unable to fix the problem. 

Calling Whirpool has gotten us lots of talk but no action.  Whirlpool has offered to extend the warranty by two months, but not to replace the machine.  According to both service contractors, other customers with this model have similar problems.
