Thank you for posting your rebuttal. I have forgotten about this website and the case for the most part, and now I finally have the opportunity to state an update.
This was written as a retaliation by two losers that have nothing better to do with their time but focus on making websites meant to harass anyone that questions them or stands up to them - this list includes models, photographers, doctors, lawyers, and television reporters. Everything they write is only a portion of the truth. Our case is now in the hands of the Nevada Supreme Court for consumer fraud. Read on.
Christopher aka "Dr. Christopher" and Tammy Campbell (formerly?) of Las Vegas, NV sued me and others for defamation over truthful postings on Ripoff Report, and lost their cases including two which resulted in half-million dollar rewards to the other parties because the Campbells apparently ripped them off. When the Campbells lost their cases, and in some situations even while the cases were still transpiring, they defamed several people on their amateur websites, such as askdrchristopher.com and deadbeatdoctors.us and zenity.com (googling any of those websites in quotes will lead you to a world of information).
During my trial, I admitted to the original post on here as "Juliana" in order to keep my anonymity because I knew I was dealing with someone who had some screws loose, and that had all of my personal information, including my address, driver's license number, mother's information, etc. I still stand by my statement, as it is the truth. On the day of the trial, my intelligent and aggressive attorney Luke Ciciliano showed a video that Campbell aka "Dr. Christopher" took during the so-called modeling shoot, and in it we witnessed Campbell in a mirror reflection peeking around a corner of the changing area taking a photo of me while I changed my clothes.
In her final order, Chief Justice Judge Shearing stated the following:
"... Campbell did perpetrate a "scam" or "fraud"...."
"it appears that Campbell never intended to pay the models... and admitted no models were ever paid."
"While it is not clear what Campbell's motives were for taping and photographing young women in the nude, it is clear he was not honest with them and was exploiting them. This court finds that the allegedly defamatory statements were true."
"When 'pervert' is used to describe the person taping nude models in sexually provocative activity, apparently for his own prurient interest, when models were lured to the session for commercial purposes, the word is appropriate." In her testimony at our trial, Tammy/Tamara/Tamra Campbell (I suppose she never figured out how to spell her name?) admitted to making an anonymous report to child services in Nevada because "she was concerned I didn't have food for my daughter", even though I had never met the woman in my life, and unknown to the Campbells, I had already moved back to Florida. Had any of the reports had any truth, I would not have been issued a teaching license from the State of Florida.
The first attorney "pro bono" that they speak of is only partially true, as Clay Hendrix was not the attorney representing me, and it was his rude wife that called me, not my attorney's wife. Again, I stated the truth about what transpired in a phone call when I tried to pay the firm, not Campbell's skewed version. We weren't "indigent" (one of Campbell's favorite words), we just couldn't afford a Vegas attorney at the time, and I had been stuck with the lawsuit right after being a Hurricane Wilma survivor so things were tough. Taxpayers didn't pay for anything at all. That's not what "pro bono" is, duh. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise when I wrote that rant and the Campbells printed it and sent it to my attorney, because I figured out with pro bono, you get what you pay for, and I felt Luke Ciciliano did a much better job. So again, thank you Christopher and/or Tammy Campbell!
I don't understand where the Campbells are coming up with me having to pay the "other party" $43,000 for anything - in her final order, the judge awarded me attorney's costs to be paid by the Campbells. But since the Campbells have a history of not paying for anything, I knew I would never see a dime, and have accepted that no one won anything. Who cares?
As for the DUI, big effing deal. Is that all they can come up with? It seemed like ages ago that it happened and the case was thrown out of court for lack of evidence. In fact, I am GLAD that it happened because in certain ways it led me to meeting my husband. Again, the Campbells attempt to project their own unresolved issues onto others, because we all know that Christopher Campbell had a DUI as well and Tammy went to some recovery meetings, but that has nothing to do with our case, does it? No one cares. Move on.
The internet postings about the police officer was something that happened almost 10 years ago, and the Campbells, in their abundant amount of time that all of us wish we had, dug up my old writings on a website. The officer in question was someone I had dated, he was aware of the postings and so was his department, and he actually laughed about it and understood because he knew he knew what he had done to me. We forgave each other and moved on. This is all old news. There is no secret about anything, and I honestly don't think anyone gives a damn - except Christopher and Tammy Campbell.
The Campbells avoid the truth and facts, as evidenced by their conflicting testimony in court, and distort the truth and facts to support their own paranoia. No one can take them seriously so they have focused their attention on another model that has been issued restraining orders against them for stalking, a model that they think died from a drug overdose but did not, other various models, photographers on Model Mayhem, doctors that have won cases against them, an investigative reporter that did a story on the Campbell's scams, and little ol' me. Thank you for making me feel so special!
I truly hope the two of you find better things to do with your lives than continue to bother someone who lives 2500 miles away, like maybe focus on bettering yourselves so the rest of the world can be a safer place. I hope it made you feel good to post this redundant rebuttal about me on here, because none of this hurts me. I am a successful, spiritual, talented, and happy person, and everything you have done to me has only made me a stronger person and made me realize that standing up for myself is the right thing to do. In fact, keep posting - I need the publicity for my upcoming book! ;)
It's a shame you continue to dig up old information about people that no longer care, while you continue the same behavior they've been doing for years. The definition of that is "insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting the same result." Some of us change. I've moved on. Maybe you should too! Remember, recovery is for everyone!
Why file a report here? Ripoff Report is a permanent record! Other complaint sites copy our content then remove reports for money.
