I met Lyle Krannichfeld at one of his exhibits in Seattle, Washington over a year ago. I admired 4 of his photographs and he offered to deliver to my home but said he needed the money up front.

Since I figured I could always find him through the gallery I paid $1,000.00 and got his phone number and email. He promised to deliver the photographs framed within one week.

Obviously they never arrived. He never answered his phone. He never answered his email. That was over a year ago.

I figured maybe he had an accident or something. But then I saw he's alive and well, the photos I bought displayed on his website.

Of course my emails went unanswered yet again.

Notice that he doesn't have his email displayed on his website. Only a submission option. A thief and a con artist.

This is absolutely a hoax! I invite you to provide ANY sort of proof. Let's see a copy of the check, records of emails sent, etc. There is ZERO truth to this allegation. Anyone can feel FREE to email me at lyle@krannichfeld.com with any questions regarding this. Please email me, I insist.

In any case even if you DID approach me about this, if you wished to purchase work on display in that gallery exhibit you would have been asked to purchase it through the gallery owner, not directly through myself. I would never disrespect John (the owner) in that manner when he gave me a chance to show my work to the world and was only taking a small commission in the first place. From an ethical and professional standpoint, that would have never happened.
