Patience Bristol you caused my mom to die in agony Patience, my mother was a simple woman who taught disabled children for 35 years in Providence Road Island.  She loved children and believed every one deserved an equal chance in this world, but when she got sick, and wanted to return to our family in Vermont, you stopped her cold.  Mom moved to Las Vegas because she wanted to spend the last years of her life in the desert.  After my father her husband of 54 years passed away, moving to your town brought hope to a lady filled with grief.   Mom had four happy years in Las Vegas.  She knew your son, my mother used to give him cookies and have nice conversations with him. He used to call her his favorite Aunt. 
 When mom became ill as she approached 88, you swooped into our lives like a vulture grabbing anything that belonged to mom you could get your hands on.  You became her guardian with the help of Jared Shafer and the Las Vegas family court.   Mom knew what she wanted.  She told you at least 50 times “please let me return to my daughter.”  You and your friends at the senior citizen’s project told her she had no right to choose.  Then you placed her in a very bad retirement home, Jump for Joy Care.  Patience you took away her right to use the phone, stopped her from receiving our letters, and two witnesses have told us you said to mom no one cared for her anymore.  All of this so you could receive your guardian fees.  Mom has been dead for five months and you have blocked us from receiving an accounting.  I knew mother had $125,000 in the bank, but you tell us all of this money is gone after 3 months of living at Jump for Joy care.  Mom’s money was going to help disabled children go to college, but I believe your personal greed will put an end to mother’s wishes.  Patience Bristol, how many families have you harmed?  When you go to sleep at night do you think about the lives you and Jared Shafer have shattered?  Mom wanted to help disabled children better their lives, how does it feel knowing  education will not be in the future of countless children who you will never meet?  What you have done to these children will harm them for the rest of their lives. Sleep well Patience Bristol, enjoy the things you have.  I hope they will bring you as much pleasure to counteract the mmissory and harm you and Jared Shafer have caused for hundreds if not thousands of families who only wanted to care for their parents or loved ones.
