Alena Strelaeff - Labradoodle Passion Buyer Beware Scam Artist Alert Victoria British Columbia

The above report was posted by Winsome Kennels, a kennel Alena charged for taking her stud dog and using him to 10 females with out payment.
He also took Misty a proven female and promised payment which he didn't do.

He has taken dogs from several other breeders also. One lady has to have the police help her remove her stud dog after Mr. Sheppard kept it for over a year using him and never paying her stud services as he promised. He has gone ahead and done this to another lady taking her female dogs and not paying for puppies or the adults as he agreed.

Misty the dog mentioned above:

Misty did have two litter with Alena as she does not breed her dogs more than twice. Misty was of breeding age and was fully health tested with passing scores as requires as Alena was a listed breeding of the International Labradoodle Ass. She was retired after the two litter and was suppose to be placed with a past worker @ winsome kennels or returned back to Alena.

Misty the dog that was suppose to live with one of his care taker. In the end Jamie kept her for producing more puppies. She has been bred every heat since she arrived at the kennel but Jamie mocks Alena for only doing two litter with her. This makes sense!

At least all her puppies lived under Alena care, unlike the high dealth rate at winsome kennels.

First litter with Jamie: Comments from a lady that purchase Misty first litter. This litter was hidden and not posted on Winsome kennels until Alena exposed the hidden litter. The broker that bought the puppies was told the sire was a labradoodle not a pure poodle at the time of purchase. It appears that Jamies was trying to hide this litter.

Second litter: Misty had another litter in between but he had her in the top of the barn with a bunch of other females and she killed all her pups by stepping on them. When I asked why he didn't move her sooner he replied he didn't know that's why they all died until they saw her jump on them when she thought she was protecting them. Yes, I will testify that he told me that.

Jamie posts false statements about Alena's income maybe this could be possible if she cut corners and didn't health test any of her dogs like Jamie breeding stock or bred them every heat every six months like Jamie and owned 30 females bringing in 100,000 a year could be possible.

Jamie admitted in court to selling his puppies for on average $1000 each. Winsome Kennels has 30 to 40 females breeding every six months. Estimated income 350,000 to 500,000 a year.

This post wants you to believe that Alena sold Misty to Winsome Kennels, a commercial breeder, and that Winsome Kennels bought the dog to give to an employee. Bizarre statement to say the least. Alena continues to use make up names but it is clear to anyone who looks at all the reports that it is the same author posting the same BS over and over. Other forums have removed her threads but unfortunately RIP OFF REPORT never removes threads. This is why she continues to use this forum. While searching Winsome Kennels threads I came upon this one attacking another breeder. The interesting thing is the person who wrote the initial report "Jamie from Ohio" didn't remember to change his city name again when he tried to comment on the person who was defending the breeder he was trying to write a report about!! You can see the comment says "Updated by Author" so you know it is the original poster, but surprise surprise the name is Jamie from Roberts Creek, BC. He always tries to call people out saying they make false claims under other names but turns out he is the one doing it!

When Alena offered the dogs she had no room to keep them so I agreed to take them and pay for them later on. Shortly after she started harassing me for payment when we had agreed payment would be made in a couple of months. You can see from the e-mail that the rebuttal is a lie just like the rest of her malicious posts.
ps. the posting of Ohio was a joke as she wrote a thread saying she visited from Ohio and was appaulled. What goes around comes around.

Misty was bred on her third heat by Jamie Sheppard. Then bred again on her fourth heat and fifth heat. Winsome kennels breeds his dogs on each heat cycle. Litters sired by several different males and even different breeds.

Alena and so many other trusting people have been fooled by Jamies false promises. A smooth talking sales person with many excuses for not honoring his word.

I am sure Alena would of never send any dogs to Jamie if she had known the truth about his kennel. She is against such breeding practices and wants the best for all her dogs. I truly feel sorry she got swindled by this con and time to shut down puppy mills like this.

I see nothing wrong with her requesting Misty back for a possible future litter. Jamie needs to post the entire email send by Alena not portions of it. Alena will not breed a dog more than 2 or 3 times max. She will only breed a female dog once they have been fully health tested and approved by her vet.

I am aware that Mr. Sheppard was made to pay Alena in the summer of 2008 for Misty as ordered by court. I guess Jamie could not count two months for an extension.

I am glad Alena sued him and won payment, more people need to stand up to this man.

Jamie left Misty's puppies unattended and all the Doberman puppies died and over half of her labradoodle litter.

In my opinion, it's very clear this man needs to see someone about his behavior.

He continues to story tell and post false statements, slander and cause defamation towards others. His reactions fueled by hate are disturbing.  If he could only get his head out of his asswhole for long enough maybe he then could think straight. Blaming and posting against others for what is happening at his own kennel is also very disturbing.

I do believe all his postings are reflecting on what is happening at his own kennel and life. He is trying to blame others and hide the truth to what is happening in his own life.  

It is clear this man is troubled and would benefit by getting some professional help. With his lengthy problems, police reports, court case against him and so many upset people this man needs to look at himself for why is this happening? Its people reactions to Jamie Sheppard own behavior.

I do think he needs to look into mental disorders. He clearly has a childhood history of abuse or neglect that has led him into a life of abusing others.  This man needs to stop and look with in himself to heal his life. For his family, he needs to stop taking advantage of people. Pay his fines, and get help.

PARANOID

We've probably all heared of the word paranoid. It means that a person is overly worried or suspicious of other people. People with a Paranoid Personality Disorder tend to think that other people are deliberately putting them down or are out to get them. They react really badly when they have setbacks in their lives and often bear grudges, or believe in conspiracies against them that are clearly not backed up in fact.

DISSOCIAL (ANTISOCIAL)

These people don't have any regard or compassion for other people. They seem to have no idea of responsibility or the proper way to behave. Their behavior is usually very antisocial and they tend to get very frustrated and very angry quickly. They can and do set up relationships with other people but they cannot keep them going, and they do not seem able to feel guilt or learn from any punishment (from the law or otherwise) that they might receive.

 

Jamie laughs to past employee about using Rip off report to get Alena and says he can post what ever he wants on Kijiji.  He notes that people are so stupid and no one asks for proof of OFA health testing. Once they see a cute puppy they can't say no, he admits to producing poor quality dogs. He says as long as people are willing to pay he can keep doing breeding.

Local Protest proves he leaves Pasha mother goldendoodle for dead.

PASHA IS DEAD by Jamies lack of concern over his dogs heath. Worker reported something was wrong but does nothing. Dog dies over night, with puppies found the next day still trying to nurse from her!

Owner tosses mother on burn pile doses her in gas and lights. NOT A CARING BREEDER, THIS DOG WAS BRED OVER AND OVER UNTIL SHE DIED!

Protest against winsome kennels reveals the truth that the owner is trying to hide. Beaware of misleading ads on Kijiji and his web site.

 

 

Winsome Kennels enjoys and brags about posting false slander on ROR and Kijiji against other doodle breeders. He says he can post what ever he wants as people don't ask questions.  They just assume its the truth.

He has taken a personal grudge against Alena after she charged him for taking dogs in good faith of payment. She found out later that he has a history of misleading people to get what he wants. After three years Alena was finally awarded payment for her dogs. In the mean time Winsome Kennels bred the dogs non stop and profits over 100,000.

Winsome kennels now has a lean on the property. WHY? because he again take dogs from a breeder with out paying. He then looses in court and is ordered to pay but doesn't. = lean on property!

He has continued to do this to many people, becareful of dealing with this person. Or you could end up with false stories and reports all over ROR about you.

Suzanne and Karen also had ads running in the Kijiji Victoria that were flagged and deleted due to false flagging from Mr. Sheppard.  

Don't be fooled by this mans misleading slander that all doodle breeders are one person, this man clearly needs some help!.

Jamie has been trying to discredit Alena after she charged in in court and won. He wants people to think that Alena makes thousands of dollars, pays no expenses and implies she isn't a good person or breeder. This is 100% false and just another attempt for him to get back at her.

Breeders know that they do not make 100% profit from puppy sales and for Jamie to say you do is false and misleading.  That in fact many times breeders loose money because of the high over head. Breeders are lucking to break even by one to two litters per female, if they breed quality dogs. Quality dogs that come from registered parents, fully health testing their breeding lines, feeding good quality food, training, pet care and vet expenses. Advertising and running a professinal breeding program is not FREE! This is why kennels and people that breed for a living will breed their dogs on average 4 to 8 times.
