These people call my 81 year old mother telling her they were coming to put her *ss out the next day. They buy insurance for you from their own company even if you have insurance and then charge you late fees and add things to your credit report from all of their different company names. They also lie to your bank telling them that you gave them verbal authorization to get money from your bank account . I don't think anybody should be able to charge you things you didn't do someone need to step in and stop them from this because there 100's of people that they are doing this to and getting away with it.

Back up the truck, Chuck...you've got some facts incorrect.

#1 - Conseco Finance no longer exists.

#2 - If you owe money on a mortgage, you have to keep the property insured. If you do NOT, every mortgage ever written in American has the clause that the mortgage holder has the right to purchase insurance to protect their investment and charge YOU for it, because you agreed to keep insurance on the property while you owed $$ on it.

#3 - Even if Conseco Finance was still in business, they do not "buy insurance from one of their own companies", because Conseco is a HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANY ONLY...they do not sell property and casualty insurance of any kind--and never have.
