Leasecomm fraudulently secured a court judgement against me. I have never signed any agreement(s) with Leasecomm and was unaware of any court action. For the past 6 years, I've been served by a Sheriff EVERY THREE (3) MONTHS. Each time I answer the door or phone when the sheriff is serving me, the sheriff tells me in a harsh tone--and in front of my young children--that, if I don't come to court to pay this "judgement", he is going to "arrest" me, "throw me in jail" and when I tell him I have young children, he tells me they will probably be taken away from me when I am in jail. Every three (3) months, I go to this same court, wait 2-3 hours while paying for day care for my children, and then I tell the sheriff that this is not my debt and show him proof, including proof that the Probate judge ordered that it is not my debt. But, he says that is not his problem, because he is paid by the attorney's for Leasecomm to force me to come to court to pay a "judgement" that they filed against me. The sheriff and the representative of Leasecomm tell me that because there is a judgement there is nothing they can do but re-schedule it three (3) months out. I've asked each time for a copy of any paperwork that was filed in order to get a judgement but they say they don't have any and that it doesn't matter because there is a judgement. Each time I've told them that I never signed any agreements with or used any services from Leasecomm so how could I owe them anything. Today, I found a lawsuit from the FTC v. Leasecomm and Massachusetts v. Leasecomm which states what I've been saying for the past six (6) years to the court--Leasecomm fraudulently got judgement against people. What I can't understand is how one arm of Massachusetts sues them for such fraud and another arm appears to be in partnership with Leasecomm when they drag innocent victims in on false charges. At this point, what I'd like to see happen is for Leasecomm or the state of Massachusetts to vacate the fraudulent judgement against me and then I feel Leasecomm should be made to pay for the emotional distress, harm to my reputation, harm to my children, and cost of child care for all the days, transportation, and other "fees" that I estimate to be thousands of dollars and I would like to donate this money to a children's fund to protect future single mothers and their children against fraud.
