J. C. Pennys did a writeoff on me. It is on my credit report. I am disable, 57 years old. My health is poor and Miland keeps calling my home stressing me out. I have asked them to not call me and this is a writeoff. They say that Ihad to pay them or they are going to take a judgement out on me. They get very hateful and ugly with me and with me bio polor and with asthma, I had to take a breathing treatment. I am tired of this and my grandson was here one day and he ask them to please talk niece to his memaw. I don't have the money to pay. I don't have the 1800 to pay a lawyer to file chapter 7. That is what consuer credit told me to do and that cost me 50 dollars to go there. Thank You.

Do not try to make a deal with them
go to www.budhibbs.com and learn your rights!!

So let me understand this.
You're disabled so you shouldn't have to pay your bill?
You're bi-polar and shouldn't have to pay your bill?
You're an asthmatic and shouldn't have to pay your bill?
Hmmmm none of these things affected you when you SPENT THE MONEY though did it? None of these conditions stopped you from SPENDING MONEY you couldnt or wouldnt pay back did it?
You let your grandson field your calls so you can avoid talking to the people who are contacting you trying to get you to pay what you owe because the calls stress you out and as everyone should know.....you're disabled....asthmatic and bi-polar. Apparently you want us all to believe that ALL these things mean you're exempt from paying what you owe.
How can you not pay this and yet be concerned that it's on your credit report.?
I'd venture to guess from this post...,that that isn't the only negative thing on there.
Hmmmmmmmm..interesting concept. No wonder the interest rates on CCs is nuts. No wonder the collection places get nasty with clients and are developing new methods of being annoying and getting their money. It's people like you and the million others here that are b!tching on this web site about all the collection calls that make it hard on the truly honest hard working people who get stuck in a bad situation now and then and may need a little help.
face it...fess up and at least attempt to pay this
