This is a scam and is all over the internet

AUTHOR: Marie - Garland (U.S.A.)

DO NOT ever pay this invoice for any reason, it will not make them go away. If you pay this invoice thinking they will go away they will never go away. If you send them a check they can take the signature and add it to a contract making it look like you signed one. I have dealt with one such company, that did this very thing. Manager before me was paying for this bogus crap. They threatened everything in the book. It took me 2 years of harassment from them, but I finally won. I found out they were located in Canada and filed with the phone busters.

They probably called wanting to update your business info and now have you on recording agreeing to the update. They will change the recording around to make it sound like you agreed to this ivoice and charge. Contact the Attorney General in your state and the state they are located. File a complaint with the FTC you can do this online. If you find out they are located in Canada contact the phone busters.

Ignore this invoice and let them know that you are filing complaints with everyone that you can. They can do nothing if you don't pay this invoice except harass you all the time. Think about it what can they do if you don't pay, nothing. All they have is a recording, nothing signed. I have learned to just hang up as soon as I find out it is them calling. There are several companies out there just like this one.

I have learned that when someone calls and wants to update my business info I tell them I have been in business 40 years and that is all the need to know, then I hang up. In fact I just answered the phone at work and it was just such a company.

Be careful now that this company has pulled this scam they more than likely will sell you info to another company doing the same thing.
