Publishers Clearing House Readers Digest Sweepstakes - Linda Norman Check was sent out stating I had won a sweepstakes. New York New York

I received a suspicious letter stating that I had won a Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes and realized that it was just to good to be true. I called the number 514-570-5612 and the girl who answered was somewhat timid and it just didn't feel right. I told her that I am going to do some research and would call her back. I did not give her any information at all and was not on the line for more then 10 seconds. I then called the company that was on the check and they told me they did not send out this check, the check was copied and it was not a real. I feel bad for this company who has to waste their time on phone calls explaining their situation.

Someone needs to do something about these freudulant people who are making fools of us everytime someone cashes these checks. During my research I came across complaints from 2007 and I am sure this goes further back then this. Why haven't these people been caught????
