Hired John to take care of my wrongful termination and workman's comp case. The first thing I recall him saying is, "you need a bulldog for this case." So I hired him on, what a huge mistake. One of his secretaries, which I won't name is a complete moron. I would get attitude for calling and checking on my case. Anyway it took nine months of me doing all the work that I hired him for. He is a horrible attorney and your case will mean nothing to him unless there is a 6 digit settlement in view. Hire him if you want to pay him half for doing nothing, and you will be doing his work for him. What a joke.

Everything stated above is absolutely true. I can tell you as a former employee of John Colbert that the only concern he has with his employees or his clients is how much money is he going to make. He will not think twice about "throwing a client under the bus" if it means he will get money in his pocket faster. The staff he hires to work his cases is unexperienced, rude, will not return phone calls, and do not care in the least about the product of work they generate. He has a high turnover rate on secretaries because of the management staff in place and the fact that he takes a hands off approach to any problems which may arise in the office. His Oklahoma City office handled all the personal injury cases and he's such an upstanding guy (can you hear the sarcasm?) that he closed the office, changed the locks and never notified the employees. They found out by showing up to work and finding a note on the door. He even went a step further and refused to let them in the building to obtain their personal effects which were in their desk. John Colbert is your typical "ambulance chaser" and in my opinion is about as trustworthy as a fox in a hen house!!! Hire at your own risk.
