I had filed and represented myself on my divorce and when it came to the divorce trial I hired John E. Hinden to represent me. I paid him $2,000.00 cash, he took my money and did not represent me.

He told me to be quit during the trial, he never spoke up on my behalf, he just let the trial go on when the other lawyer spoke up and had their witness and he let them do their thing. He never asked questions. He didn't do crap. He just had the other lawyer do their thing and got me nowhere. He didn't even tell me we can file an appeal. He just took the money and ran, after the trial was done, he then took himself off my case and told me he didn't wan't to represent me because he didn't want to deal with my ex-wife who constantly called him.

I called him many many times and he never returned my calls. I had to go to his office and talk to him just for him to talk to me. After many times of telling him he did not represent me enough for the $2,000.00 he told me he would file a motion after he came back from vacation. That didn't happen. I had to constantly call him on what was done and still he did nothing. Finally I'm fed up with him and try to call him again to talk to him and still he does not return my phone calls. He actually moved out of his office and moved somewhere else and no forwarding address. He is a mediocre attorney, do not hire him if you want results.
