Please beware that Attorney, CPA, Real Estate Broker Steven Sears at 18 Truman was criminally convicted and he is under probation case #05SF1322 at the Harbor Justice Center in Newport Beach. Steven Sears Broker license was REVOKED on December 15, 2008.

Regarding your Rip off report. You need to report Attorney Steven Sears to the Orange County District Attorney Carolyn Smith at 949-476-4650, and notify her with his violation. It appears to be that this was a clear violation of his probation. The Orange County District Attorney filed a violation of his probation recently for another issue.

Also, there is Lawsuit RICO complaint was filed against Steven Sears in Federal Court Shaw vs. Steven Sears for FRAUD case #SACV 07-01361 JVS(ANX). Please notify the media with his fraudulent advices to many victims. I am refferring to the State Bar of California website for attorney Steven Sears, you will discover that you are not the only victim.

I don't know Steven Sears. Never heard of the man until today. Apparently he is an attorney and, according to the OP, he is representing Michael Vick.

The OP is obviously an animal lover. Me too. Vick's actions were deplorable and the punishment he received was nowhere near adequate.

But, like all Americans, he is entitled to representation in legal proceedings. Like freedom of speech and everything else we hold dear in this country, the right to the assistance of an attorney is a NECESSITY even if, at times, it may provide for a distasteful outcome.

But just like he has the right to have a lawyer, you have every right to criticize the lawyer that takes him on as a client.

Now I don't know whether your accusations against Mr. Sears are correct. Alot of your "case numbers" and what not aren't even close to being in the right format. But you certainly don't help your cause when you try to pull the wool over our eyes and pretend to be multiple people.

This report appears to be a hoax.  Attorney and accountant Steven Sears of Irvine, Orange County, California, advertises as a tax attorney and asset protection specialist.  He has many legal troubles at this time, but this is not one of them.  A search of "Steven Sears" on this website will turn up many, many reports where it is apparent that the words "steven sears attorney" have been inserted in place of other words in the complaint.  Perhaps this is a strategy used by someone protecting Steven Sears, who hopes to bury reports of his actual legal problems among reports that are clearly made up and unverifiable.

I have had the displeasure of personally meeting Mr. Sears and taking legal action against him to recover excessive fees charged by his office.  But I can't agree with filing false reports to either defame him or deflect attention away from the many actual legal proceedings now pending against him.
