Redding's Auction Don't go to Redding's Auction to auction your items unless you are one of the first four in line. Harrison Ohio

I called Redding's Auction to participate in their tail gate auction on Friday night. I was not called back until the next week and told I would be number X. When I arrived, I was told I probably would not sell anything because my number in line was too high. I was hoping he was kidding since no one warned me of this when I scheduled the appointment.

By the time my load came up for auction, many of the people were gone and even the auction personnel seemed to have lost interest. The load before mine, the "owner" said to just sell the stuff at whatever price they could get, so they sold it by the boxfuls.

Mine was the last auction. I had one box of new items valued at approximately $75. They did not even try to auction the larger pieces off and sold the entire box for $4.00. The rest of my items were sold for $1.50 a box. The auction people bought them. I was not even given an option if it was okay to sell my items by the boxful.

Needless to say, I feel I was robbed. I would have been better off taking my items to Good Will and taking a write-off on my taxes.

I also wonder who owned the items in the first several auctions; since I was the first one there and these items were ready for auction.
