I attended an auction held by World Wide Auctions Co. on 2-4-2012. I got a pinball machine, a desk that was listed as a "granite top mediterranean desk", a massage chair and a few other small items. I returned the next day with a trailer and help to get the pinball machine and desk. At this time I realized the desk did not have a granite top but was a composite top "fake granite". Then the pinball machine did not work. We were told at the time of the auction it worked and he had played it. I told Mr. Guy Hodges that it did not work. He showed no concern said it works but would not even walk over to it to see. I then realized he new it had a problem. I was lied to and taken advantage of by Mr. Guy Hodges and World Wide Auction Co. I told him I wanted a refund on the pinball machine, He looked at me in an angry stare and voice said " your not getting anything". I told him " due to the situation I no longer wanted to do buisness with you and wanted non of my items and wanted a refund on everything". All the while getting angrier and louder. He said "you bought it its yours". I said I will dispute it with my credit card co. and started to leave. He yells " I'll have your ass throughen in jail for theft ". As I walked out the front door he yells " I'll see you in court". I made no responds to either comment. I hollered for my 7 year old son "that was playing off front porch" come on we're going, he runs up to me. Mr. Guy Hodges  looks down to my son and says " I should have never let you and your boy in". The day before upon arrival to the auction he looked straight at my son addressing my son said aggresevly (I felt) "we dont allow kids here but I'll make an exeption, but there's fragile stuff in here, you are not to touch anything and if see you away from your dads side I'll kick you both out of here"  A lady came up and told  Mr. Guy Hodges to stop he was making my son cry. He wasn't crying yet but was clearly intimmadated by the 6'3" 300 lb. man. Mr. Guy Hodges should have addressed me NOT MY SON. (back to us leaving) Still I made no comment, then Mr. Guy Hodges yells " I should have your ass kicked ". Im about 25 to30 feet from him at this time, I turn around and so does a friend thats with me 10 feet behind me. My friend responds " what did you just say". Mr. Guy Hodges takes a few steps toward my friend and says " who are you". I say to friend don't worry about it lets go, and we continue to leave. I have since searched for other complaints and have found simular complaints.
