Wow, I have never written a ripoff report before, but these guys take the cake. After I placed my order for a Navigon 7200T, a fellow named ALEX kept calling my phone number from 800-000-0000. However, I didn't know it was 86th st. video b/c they never left a message except for one that was extremely broken up and I heard "Alex" and "order". Maybe this guy was going in and out of the concrete bank he might have been robbing at the time! Crazy. Well anyway, I finally got another call from this guy, and he immediately pressured me to buy a card. He was EXTREMELY rude and agressive. I refused multiple times, and then I found an email saying that my order was cancelled. I called back, and advised them of the unpleasant discussion with their other rep. The person I reached was not apologetic in the slightest. (And I am VERY polite) I was immediately transferred back to Mr. Alex. I asked him why my order had been cancelled. He said that he had not cancelled it. (Oh and btw he also said that there would be a charge on my card if I chose to cancel the order if I didn't want to take their $100 card.... before it had even shipped. nice) I also asked him why he had been so rude to me. He didn't apologize or acknowledge. He then said that the email was because the unit was on backorder. From reading the other guy's ROR on here, apparently this is one of their tactics.
So... I called my credit card co. immediately and apparently there was no charge on my card. However, I asked them to notate the account so that I would have "backup" if a charge appeared.
So... these guys are really mean and evil... I'm surprised there aren't more rip off reports about them. It's too bad more people don't know about this site.

86th street video's service and tactics are rude and dishonest. Don't let the price lure you. As for my GPS, I'll be ordering the refurb unit at roughly the same price from a site I trust.
