Lafnac Digital Computers Ltd Free does not mean Free New York New York

On a walk on our last day in NY we entered Lafnac Digital Computers Ltd (basically to escape the cold!) and found what we thought were excellent "bargins". Initially we were after a camera, but eventually bought the camera, suitcase, projector and printer. The camera we were given was not the one offered; and there was no manual with the projector. This we could probably have lived with. It was all the extras that were "given" to us as we had been such excellent customers - these amounted to an additional $1300! I had asked for a copy of the receipt I had checked (you could not read the hand written document). However, once we returned to the hotel to take a taxi to the airport I found that the receipt was not the same and that it included all the "gifts".

Lesson learned - always double check items purchased against the receipt!

Having read all the other reports, it really is a matter of Buyer Beware!
