On April 4th of this year, I purchased 2 Chauvet HTI replacement Halogen Bulbs for a pair of DJ lights that were on sale for $92.07. Knowing that this sale was a bargain, I made the purchase. I had no need for the Halogen bulbs at the time since I wanted to buy them in case that the ones I had in use burned out.
It turns out that I when I needed them (This past Halloween, I had a party to do). I opened the halogen bulbs to replace old ones. To my surprise they were Burned/Blown. I couldn't believe that someone actually was that bald. I called Musician's Friend the next day in order for them to resolve this issue. I have been buying stuff over the Internet for the last seven years and I never had a problem or had to return anything. Since this is a highly rated online store I thought they would be more understanding of the situation. First, they gave me the run-around about the order number. I had to provide them the with the information about the original email receipt. Then they couldn't find the purchase number because they had recently changed or upgraded the system. Therefore I had to go through Amazon.com in order to get the information they needed. After I got all the information they needed, kept me on hold while they spoke to their Management.
To make the long story short, they gave me their "45 day" routine bull crap return policy.
