Sept 14,2009 bought a LD TV 15in at a furnature store.  I was told it was new but not in a box.  I paid 400.00 and when I got home did an onb line search to find a comparable price of 185.00 at Best Buy.

Called Toshebia (brand of TV) and gave them the model no but they could not give me the retail value because it was too old.  Looked on back of TV and was 2005 model.

Went back to the store and spoke to Eddy and he said this was new because it never left the store.  I was illing to negotiate and ask for a big and better TV in exchange and was going to end the deal.  Edy refused.

Was told boss's name is AL but away for the week and he will call me, would not give his last name

Well, you have learned a valuable lesson.  NEVER purchase electronics from a furniture store.  Even on current models, they are usually priced about 50% more than you would pay for the same TV at an electronics store.  And as for the name of Al, the manager....I would not be at all surprised if his last name is BUNDY,  AL BUNDY !!!!
