After posting a free local ad to sell my vehicle, I was contacted by OSM. The sales guy was very pursuasive in telling me that they could not only sell my car within 2 weeks, but that I was asking too little. For a nominal "money back" fee, they would gladly use their contacts to sell my auto.
I followed their instructions. I sent them the photos they requested and paid the registration fee. They quickly charged my account and started the ad. About 5 weeks after starting the ad, I received an email from them asking me to verify the VIN because they believed it to be too blury in the photo. I emailed the VIN to them and got a quick "thanks" response.
6 months went by. Not one call. Not one single call on a 2008 vehicle that was being sold at the market value. My local free ad brought phone calls but this place didn't garnesh one.
After the time limit for the money back guarantee came up, I again followed instructions and mailed in my money back guarantee form. I received a letter stating my refund had been denied. The reason? a blurry photo. What a joke. This company finds loopholes to keep people's hard-earned money. The decision of a blurry photo is subjective to their own opinion. And why not tell someone up front if the photos they provided didn't meet their standards. How 'bout doing that before you charge their card? They didn't say anything about my photo until the ad had been running for several weeks. I couldn't get anyone to respond to me via email. Finally got a manager on the phone who was extremely condescending to me. The fact is that this company has no integrity. I should have done more research. Why? Too many complaints. This is truly a terrible company led by insiduous individuals that care only to rob good hard-working people.
