State Farm When your car is broken into this is what State Farm is going to do; Winter Haven, Florida

My car was broken into and I filed a claim only because I had exterior and interior damages. All of my electronics were stolen from inside of my car which included 2 tvs, a subwoofer, 2 dvd players, and a amplifier.

And I want thoses items replaced in my car. When I first reported the claim State Farm claims rep told me that I would receive a check for the value of the stolen items and exterior damage. When I called to check the staus of the check they told me that they will only send a check for the exterior damage and only send replacement items that were stolen.

Once State Farm realized how much the estimate was to replace the items. They changed their tune and said that they will only send out replacement items. I thought that since I don't have any receipts that shows the make model and dollar amount of how much money it costed me. State Farm told me that the receipts don't even matter because they are going to send out what they pick out for me.

I don't think that is fair at all for State Farm to pick and choose what to put in my car. Technology has changed so much since I purchased those items over 4 years ago. I asked them to send me a check for the value on those items. So I can pick out what I want for my car. I do not want any cheap electronics put in my car. I don't have a problem paying extra for what I want. But I fell as if it shouldn't be up to State Farm, what items go back into my car.
