It is a unwritten rule that you do not upsell warranty work unless it is a safety concern. I was told to return salary in order to show good faith to chyrsler so we would not get an audit. Chrysler does not want to pay anymore than it has to for warranty repairs . They will bounce back pay to dealers for not abiding to policy . On one occasion a minivan came in for a warranty trans problem .At that time I made repair and then repaired a oil and trans leak under warranty that the customer did not see. That when i was told of my mistake and ill will towards Chrysler.
