I purchased a vehicle from Drivetime over a year and a half ago. I was well aware that I was paying above book and high interest but I chose to do it anyway. In the summer of 2011 I started have trouble with the vehicle. Sometimes it would start sometimes it would not. Battery was good just would not start might start in a minute or two ot maybe not for a day or two. I took the car where I was told to take it tow bill was $135. over what they will pay but that was the nearest repair shop Drivetime had and I paid my co-pay no problem. I was told it was probably the starter but when the shop got the car they replaced the fule pump instead. About a month later problem started again same as before the mechanic at the shop said it was probaly the starter this time and told me bring it back. I managed to get it started and drove it to the shop. I was charged the $150 copay agan then they said they fixed the a/c under the warrenty because he heard a noise(which I had not heard and had not had a problem with) then I was told the starting problem was my ignition which was not covered another $95.00. 1 week later same problem called the mechanic and he said it sounded like the starter.(do we see a pattern here?) He told me I would have to pay the $150.00 again. I sent an e-mail to the company but all I got back was a message on my home phone to call the warrenty department which I did just to be told I would have to pay the $150.00 copay again. I just e-mailed them and told them to come get the vehicle and after all my payments going in on time every month for a year and a half we can go to court if they think I own them anything.
