This is beyond nuts! I have a 1997 Crown Victoria purchased new at Galpin Motors in Los Angeles. The vehicle has almost 150,00 miles on it.

I have just received a recall notice informing me that " a fire could occur at any time, even if the key is not in the ignition." The "issue refers to a component in the speed control system..." Good god! What next? Think before you buy a FORD.

Your recall affects other Ford vehicles as well not just yours. Every car manufactuer has recalls not just Ford. Did you know Honda had more recalls last year than Ford?

I don't see a ripoff here...
