Manfredi Motors Inc, Staten Island, NY, dealer auto repair rip-off

Manfredi Motors Inc, Staten Island, NY. Are curently lying to thier customers that bring their vehicles in to be repaired, ie engine problems, transmision problems and such at the service department. Also providing false information about what exactly is wrong with your vehicle and telling you that you need extra services that aren't needed to bring the vehicle back into good running condition.

I tested out this rumor about this dealer. This is what happened to me...I had a recall on my car and Manfredi Motors was the closest dealer to get the recall done. At the time one of my spark plug wires broke as well making my car run rough. I knew about this and was going to replace it after the recall item was finished. The car was still under warranty too.

I told them that the engine was running rough and to check that out as well. Well, to make a long story short they called me the next day telling me that I needed the full service job on the car in order to get the car running right again which would have cost me over $500 bucks. I simply replaced the spark plug wire and the car ran beautiful again. These people will try to rip you off if you're not carefull. Don't get your servicing done there!
