Mike Shad Chrysler-Plymouth of Jacksonville and the ultimate rip-off.

I noticed a little leak coming from somewhere under the engine of my Plymouth Voyager. Not being able to tell where it was coming from, I took it to the dealer for inspection. I left it with them, with instructions to give me a call before any work was performed. They called allright, with an estimate of $1850. According to them, the whole cooling system needed replacing as everything was leaking. I found this really hard to believe.

I picked it up and took it right down the road to another garage that a friend had reccommended. They ran a complete pressure check and found absolutely nothing wrong with it other than a couple of hoses that needed tightening. They checked the oil and added a quart and I was good to go and it only cost me $30.
