I WAS AN AUTO TECHNICIAN FOR 15 YEARS I CHECKED OUT WHAT I KNEW AND DECIDED TO TAKE IT IN. BUT I DONT FIX
DRIVABILITY OR TRANSMISSION TROUBLES BUT I HAVE FRIENDS AND KNOWLEDGE TO KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS.---HERE GOES---

I TOOK MY CAR TO THE WALSER BUICK DEALERSHIP WITH A
COMPLAINT OF CAR SHAKES AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS ON
ACCELERATION SO THEY LOOKED AT IT AND SAID THAT THE PROM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED SO THEY HAD TO ORDER IT AND WHEN IT WOULD COME IN THEY WOULD CALL ME FOR ANOTHER APPOINTMENT.

SO A WEEK LATER THE SERVICE WRITER CALLS ME AND WE SET A DATE. I BRING IT IN AND THEY REPLACE THE PROM IN THE COMPUTER AND I GO BY AND GET THE CAR AND I NOTICE THERE IS NO MILEAGE CHANGE ON THE ODOMETER FROM WHAT WAS WRITTEN ON THE WORK ORDER.

SO I DRIVE AWAY DOWN THE ROAD AND WHEN I GET A MILE AWAY, IT GOES INTO NEUTRAL ALL BY ITSELF, SO I SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL AND BACK INTO DRIVE, DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD BUT I GET ON THE PHONE AND CALL THE SERVICE WRITER RIGHT AWAY AND LEAVE A MESSAGE AND HE NEVER CALLS ME BACK(THIS IS NOW FRIDAY AFTERNOON
AROUND 3:45 PM)

AND ON MY WAY TO MY DESTINATION THE CAR GOES INTO NEUTRAL AGAIN EACH TIME I SHIFT IT BACK INTO GEAR BUT THEY END OF THE NIGHT IT WONT MOVER AN INCH,

THE NEXT MORNING I CALL THE STORE MANAGER AND HE HAS THE CAR TOWED IN. SO MONDAY GOES BY AND NOBODY CALLS, TUESDAY MORNING COMES AND I CALL THEM AND FINALLY HALF HOUR LATER I GET THIS CALL FROM A TECH WONDERING WHAT IS EXACTLY WRONG AND I EXPLAINED IT TO HIM AND HE GOES TO LOOK AT THE CAR AGAIN, AND THEN MYRON CALLS ME THE NEXTDAY AND TELL ME SORRY BUT IT WASN'T ACTUALLY YOUR PROM THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BUT YOUR TRANSMISSION WENT OUT AND MY REPLY WAS BULLSHIT BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE TRANSMISSION UNTIL YOU PUT THAT NEW PROM IN.

HE INSISTED THAT THE PROM HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CARS TRANSMISSION AND SAID I WAS MAKING A HUGE MISTAKE. SO WE WENT AROUND FOR A FEW WEEKS OVER THIS ON THE PHONE AND IN HIS OFFICE. BY THIS TIME I TALKED TO OTHER TECHS THAT WERE TRANSMISSION EXPERTS AND THEY TOLD ME HOW TO DETERMINE IF IT WAS SUCH A THING.

WE VERIFIED THAT THE TRANSMISSION IS IN FACT A COMPUTER OPERATED TRANSMISSION BECAUSE IT HAS THE ELECTRICAL PLUG IN AND THE NUMBER OF IT IS A. F 17 OFF THE OPTION STICKER.

I WAITED A FOR TWO MONTHS AND THEN DECIDED TO GET A USED TRANSMISSION AND INSTALL IT-I DRAINED IT REALLY WELL ALONG WITH THE TORQUE CONVERTER AND PANS, CHANGED ALL THE GASKETS AND SEALS AND INSTALLED THIS UNIT AT MY WORK ON A DAY I HAD TO TAKE OFF--SO NOW AFTER TWO WEEKS OF DRIVING THIS CAR MY PROBLEM WAS STILL THERE.

SO I SENT A LETTER TO MYRON MEGSTADT THE MANAGER OVER THE ISSUE AND I WAS NICE ABOUT IT AND WAS ASKING FOR THE COST OF THE TRANSMISSION AND THE LABOR TO
BE REIMBURSED TO ME FOR THEIR ERROR IN DIAGNOSIS OF MY CAR TROUBLES.

HE NEVER REPLIED OR CALLED ME, BUT WITHIN THREE DAYS THAT I SENT THE LETTER TO MYRON THE BMW DEALERSHIP THAT I WORK AT AND THAT IS OWNED BY THE WALSER FAMILY OF DEALERS IS NOW WRITING ME UP FOR SOMETHING ELSE AND THEN I REPLIED TO THE WRITE UP IN
WRITING (JUST LIKE THE LAW ALLOWS ME TOO)AND GAVE IT TOO JERRY ON THE MONDAY WHICH IS ALSO THE SAME DAY I SEE THE DOCTOR AFTER WORK.

TO GO OVER THE M.R.I.RESULTS ON MY NECK AND THEN TUESDAY MORNING I TELL JERRY ITS CONFIRMED ABOUT MY NECK AND AT THE END OF THE DAY THEY FIRE ME FROM MY JOB.

I WAS ALSO ON WORKERS COMPENSATION FOR A NECK STRAIN WITH THIS COMPANY BUT NOT GETTING WAGES,AND AS OF TODAY I FOUND OUT THAT THEY ARE ALSO FIGHTING THE UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION TOO AND I WAS DISQUALIFIED BUT IM GONNA FIGHT IT, BUT GET THIS, MY MANAGER IS A LONG TIME FRIEND,OUR MOTHERS GREW UP TOGETHER AND SO DID HE AND I-SOME FRIEND HE TURNED OUT TO BE-GUTLASS BASTARD TO NOT STICK OUT HIS NECK AND SAY HEY WE WERE ALL WRONG AND MAYBE WE SHOULD TAKE CARE OF IT AND PAY HIM HIS MONEY AND THEN HE WOULD SHUT UP OVER IT.

BUT HE RAN BEHIND HIS JOB AND MONEY HE MAKES WHILE HE RIPS THE COMPANY OFF ON GAS RECEIPTS AND PARTS DEALS HE GIVES HIS FRIENDS THAT NOBODY ELSE GETS AS WELL AS SOME SHELVING HE HAS AT HOME THAT HE TOOK AND SAID THEY WERE GONNA THROW IT OUT

(WHO THROWS OUT SHELVING IN A COMPANY WITH OVER 20
DEALERSHIPS?? NOBODY!! NOBODY'S PERFECT BUT I WONT LAY DOWN WHEN I HAVE BEEN DONE WRONG.

I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE MINNESOTA ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AND ITS PENDING YET AND IF ANYBODY WHO WRITES FOR A NEWSPAPER READ OR A REPORTER READ THIS--CONTACT ME BY LOOKING UP THE DEALERSHIP INFORMATION AT THE MINNESOTA ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE--ITS WALSER BUICK OR WALSER CORPORATION IN BLOOMINGTON MINNESOTA-

THIS DEALER HAS BEEN IN THE NEWS HERE FOR OTHER CAR SALES LIES THEY HAD GOING ON CUSTOMERS BUT THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE SETTLED WITH THEM TO NOT DO BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES

Kn313, I just read a nice lil Walser info-mercial you typed up on a Hecker report. "Hey, we're good guys, other dealers bad." Knock it off. Servicing customers has nothing to do with "One Price" but the management of the dealership you are doing business with. It's a simple as that velvet johnson. And oh yeah, I beat your one price ALL the time.

So...

What are we supposed to take from this?  I'm sorry about what happened but it's hard to garner sympathy while pretty much using this site to b*tch and moan about your ex- buddy rolling you under the bus.  This definatley seems like one of those stories where we need to hear the other side of the story.
