Chrysler 300 with 2500 miles has shudder in first gear, noise from the A/C Compressor, and the steering wheel is off center. Each time I've returned the car for the same problems and the service lady says the car is fixed and ready for pickup but the problems remain.

Last time I took the car in, the head mechanic told her they needed to remove and realign the steering wheel and check for the other noises. They have since stated that the noises are normal (which alarms me to no end), and now the car steers very squirly like the gearbox has been messed with. The noises remain, and the transmission still shudders!@#!?

Did you buy this lovely auto brand new???

AUTHOR: Thomas - Anderson (U.S.A.)

If so, check the Lemon Laws. Usually after three (3) failed attempts to repair your brand-new car warranty problems, you are entitled to return the car for a refund.

I dimly remember Chrysler reselling lemon-law cars form one state in another state using such appellations as "factory executive" cars.

It is hard to know exactly what the problems with your car are & why those problems cannot be corrected by the dealer. Maybe Chrysler pays a really crummy hourly rate for warranty work... I don't know. If it were me, I would "lemon" my way out from under the car.

Chrysler 300

Yes, I did buy it new. Had 6 miles when I drove it off the lot at 9pm. Now I did see some more noticeable cosmetics things later, which they took care of (such as dings on the rear bumper). There still is rust on the upper ball joints which has started me wondering how new is this car or where it has been.
