Us Fidelis I bought coverage. My vehicles valves and head froze. They stated NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. Did not cover the cost. Inspector looked at the problem. Same answer, no coverage. Wentzville, Missouri

I bought the insurance, believing the ad. My vehicle had 105,000 miles on it. The engine froze. The Ford dealer stated the spark plug poped out and the exhaust and intake valves were frozen. After several calls and being on hold for long periods of time, the claim was denied. I called to complain, so they sent an inspector taking several days. He inspected the damaged parts and gave the following statement to the Ford service writer; NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, CLAIM DENIED! The Ford service writer told me he was speechless.

He indicated he has dealt with many insurance companies, and has never seen this type of explaination, on this type of repair. He stated it was unbelievable.
