Went online to antwerpen Toyota today. They had a call for pricing toyota matrix. A little bubble popped up saying we can help you! I clicked it and got Jennifer. We discussed the price of the car. I said $18,500 out the door taxes tags title and everything. She said let me go check with my manager! She came back and said its a deal, come on in, and lets do the paperwork. I said I was paying cash, so go ahead and get started. When I get there, I sit down and their finance guy comes over.
He tells me that Jennifer cant make those decisions, and here is the price of the car. $22,122.56 I look at the write up, as I knew that there was a $1250 rebate on this car I looked for it, He ADDED 1250, then subtracted it at the bottom line so the rebate amount was 0. When he did the taxes, he taxed me on the 1250 that he ADDED as a rebate. This was NOT a mistake, as he did this on Purchase orders of TWO different cars. Here is exactly how the two PO's looked
Special sale price
$19756.00
Matrix cash
1250.00
Md Tax
1309.00
freight
720.00
tags
337.00
Minus matrix cash
total
22122.56
here is the second PO
agreed sale price
$18500.00
freight
660.00 (why is the freight different for the same car????)
Matrix cash
1250.00
Md tax
1230.60
new tags
357.00 (why are the tags more???)
total
$21977.60
Minus matrix cash
1250.00
Total
$20727.60
So on the first car the freight was 60 dollars more, it has different rims, that is it, so why is it different?
On the second car the tags are 20 dollars more. Why? also tags and title in MD dont cost this much, as I just bought a new car 3 weeks ago and paid 237.00 for tags and title of the same class of car.
BEWARE!!! If for some reason you buy there PLEASE check your paperwork!!!

LAST YEAR!!! Simply divide $4.4 BILLION by 365 days, and see what you get!
And that's based on a calendar year of 365 days! If you used a 5 day work week, the loss per day becomes even MORE!!! I believe it would be over $16 MILLION PER DAY, based on a typical 5 day work week!!! 52 weeks x 5 days = 260 days, right?
That's right!!! So Toyota LOST OVER $16 MILLION PER DAY based on a 5 day work week!!!
If you take the LOSS that Toyota reported of $4.4 BILLION, and divide it by 365 days, you come up with a LOSS of over $12 MILLION PER DAY!!!
That's a LOSS OF OVER $12 MILLION EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!
That means each day Toyota Corporation LOST $12 MILLION!
OR, A LOSS OF OVER $16 MILLION PER DAY BASED ON A 5 DAY WORK WEEK!
WOW!!!!!!!
TOYOTA- MOVING BACKWARDS, & INTO THE RED!
