My Clutch on my Audi TT burnt out after 9000 miles, the car is just over 1 year old, so you know I don't drive it alot. Audi claimed this is as a result of my driving techniques and it will be $3500.00 to repair. My other car is also a manual transmission but has 86 000 miles on it and still on the first clutch. My husband and I are both from Oversees and have only ever driven manual transmissions, neither of us have ever burnt out a clutch before.

I filed a complaint with Audi, they offered to pay $1000 towards the repairs and supported the dealer that this is my problem.

This same vehicle has also had the motors for the convertible top replaced 4 times in this 1 year, at least they covered the costs on this issue.
