    ...the right way!

They promise me that I would not be driving home with a non working car…. and that is exactly what had happen. At first it drove really well on the test drive (but we couldn't get far because it was just about out of gas and they did not want to fill it up before the test drive) but it drove good and looked go so we bought it. But after we bought it, it just so happens that it broke down not even a block away from the lot! They came and helped us out and fixed the problem (thanks for that) but then it broke down again before getting home. When I called them the next day they just kept telling me that there was nothing we can do about it and to call back tomorrow! The fat lady at the desk is no help and is very rude and to call me ignorant and selfish!!! I tried to explain that I'm not trying to be selfish but I just bought this car yesterday and I can't even drive it! And all she had to say is to call back tomorrow!!! I took it to the shop and the supercharger went out on it and that it would be $1,500-$2,000 to fix (I paid $2,700 for the car itself). Also its leaking antifreeze from the radiator and that would be $300-$500 to fix. When I called back the 2nd day and told them what happen, he told me there was nothing they can do about it, and I bought it as is. The guy who sold the car just kept saying, “It's good, it's good. It drives good, good car, good car”!!!

I swear that is all the he knew how to say! Let me save you guys!!! Do not buy a car from them unless you go on a good 15 minute test drive! Buy a care form the bigger lots (and the bigger used lots). They don't try to rip you off and they really want to get read of those cars and will defiantly choose a lower rate and a better quality car for you. DO NOT GO (DO NOT TRUST) AUSTIN'S AFFORDABLE AUTOS!!

#1 Consumer Suggestion

$2700 is a junk car price

AUTHOR: Karl - Clovis (U.S.A.)

And you bought a supercharged model??? Next time look for a fairly simple used car and deal with a private owner where you can get service records and a history of the car. A $2700 car from a used car lot is junk and it is priced that way.

Your OWN Fault!!!

AUTHOR: Memyself&i - Mentor (U.S.A.)

you're willing to fork over $3k for a car but not $50 to have a mechanic give the car a look over?

A supercharger? I can only assume it's a pontiac bonneville SSEi and that's what sold the car - the car has a supercharger, fast fast vroom vroom beat porche beat bmw people look at you go wooo and ahhh!!!

#3 Consumer Suggestion

this MIGHT help...

AUTHOR: Stephen - Vancouver (U.S.A.)

even if you purchased the auto "as is"...there is an effective and little-known remedy available to residents of washington state...it is called arbitration...and is available to taxpayers' through the offices of the attorney general in olympia, wa. they will mail you forms to fill out...the dealer is required to personally appear at this hearing...where you are given an opportunity to argue your case...while vehicles can be sold "as is"...you have a reasonable expectation that the product will operate/perform as represented the day of sale for a reasonable duration of time...it didn't...over 90 percent of these hearings are ruled IN FAVOR of the consumer...but very few avail themselves of this forum because they aren't aware that they can do so...good luck.
